teams that back youngsters do well
by krishna v on Sep 23, 2010 01:33 PM

tournament again proves the agility and youth have trounced expereince in every department of the game. most juniors have outshines, outperformed and outclassed the seniors. vijay, raina, ashwin, badrinath, kohli how they have taken their teams to semis.baring kumble none of the seniors have shown any kind of consistency - bhajji, zaheer, sachin have all performed in a match but have failed to perform anything in rest of the matches infact they both were responsible for most failures of mumbai.no wonder we see mumbai out and teams who have backed on youngsters doing well.mumbai needs to get out of over dependence on seniors and give more opportunities to youngsters to play some magical cricket to have any future in this format.like always mumbai is at the bottom.sad being one of the top paid teams

Ashwin
by Adnan on Sep 23, 2010 12:34 PM

Ashwin is the highest wicket taker in the ACLT20. He has done well especially bowling with the new ball during the power play even in IPL ....But when it comes to international cricket Dhoni would still prefer our great 'allrounder' Mr.Ravinder Jadeja to Ashwin...Can't understand why?

Semi Final CSK-RCB
by venkataraman srinivasan on Sep 23, 2010 10:25 AM

It is easy for CSK to reach Final. RCB do not have that much powerful bowling attack. According to me Kumble is only a mediam pace bowler. That will not work with CSK. The Durban wicket is not like the one played by CSK and Warriers. Spinners will make the big mess against RCB. Let us watch and enjoy. All the best to my team CSK

Semi Final 1
by Hanumanji Prasad on Sep 23, 2010 09:53 AM  | Hide replies

Its well and good that any of the IPL teams will go thru' finals.Let it be RCB or CSK.Both teams are equally balanced and capable of doing anything at the end.But for me RCB has an edge as they have won most of the matches agains CSK.For RCB Taylor and Uthtappa has to do something special and Kumble should bowl with his heart.Fielding is the main thing for both teams.I am a RCB fan and hope for a good show by RCB and my best wishes for them for Finals.
Go RCB go and bring the cup to India.

Champions are still on.........
by Anurag Rathore on Sep 23, 2010 09:50 AM

No team can think to go with only 1 seamer in T-20 match. That is what where captaincy matters.

Great job by CSK. M.Hussey and J.Kemp catches were crucial. But surprisingly one of the best catcher M.Vijay looked sloppy in the field.

Fixing??
by Selwyn Fernandes on Sep 23, 2010 07:45 AM  | Hide replies

Doesnt this looked to be fixed?? 2 south african sides and 2 Indian sides battling it out in the semi-finals. Finals also would be between South African side versus and Indian side. Perfect for the sponsors, crowds and TV audiences..
