Even in T20's, the conditions do matter.. Re: i told you all by deep earth on Sep 23, 2010 12:25 AM by they way, i work in the tv industry for the last 18 years...forget cricket...those lousy soaps..that they show on tvs...you will not believe such shady deals happen to air those nonsense and here we are talking cricket... i love this game..but not for this nonsense... i have friends as cameramen, sports writers, production designers...whose conversation a day or two before matches...literally will be like how gamblers talk...they are so good...they will predict how much a player will score on a day and sometimes even batting orders...we keep chatting during games...and i am totally surprised...thats how well they read games with 20 yrs of experience... i am not one of those stupids who come here and write comments everyday for the heck of it...i got pissed of with this nonsense, becoz it literally kills the excitment out of me since i dont get to watch cricket since am sitting at work during most of these matches..becoz of my nature of work... by the way my colleagues are good folks...its just that they can analyse the minds of these cricket folks so well...sad but true as i said before, believe what you want..your time is not mine..    Forward   |   Report abuse

If u exclude that over, only 40 runs were scored in 9 overs that too when the team must win the match to stay!! What do u call it?? I am not here to argue that IPL or CLT20 is the cleanest but ssport is different and it can vary each day.. Depends on conditions, how aggressive and assertive the opponents are and heavy planning!!! Secondly 20 20 games are exciting bcuz its fast paced and things can change every over. Anyone can win these shorter games as a few Big hits can get u closer to ur target and a few dot balls adds to the pressure and can get u a wicket. Re: Re: Re: Re: i told you all by deep earth on Sep 23, 2010 01:00 AM got your point..by that count..it would have made much sense if the score was 160 or if lets say it was a must win game for warriors, not the 109 target... the pattern in which the game went in my opinion was loaded 100% in favor of warriors even with so called murali threat..and it was so until almost 12th over...and off course, now excitement had to start didnt it..(and even for a win it was about 8 runs an over with 8 wickets) even for a one day cricket with what happened until 11 overs, and what was needed, today's teams sleep walk through it..dont you think so.. and to stretch it, think about the situation with what was needed in tests..with all negative bowling etc..any team wouldnt be foolish not to go for a win especially if the situation said, ok you can draw the match with just 47 runs... am not a pessimist by any imagination, but this is heights in the name of cricket.. and by the way, how i make my money shouldn't concern you..betting is gambling, and i dont do that...even for fun..    Forward   |   Report abuse
