Don't lose heart. He wasn't that much of a test player anyway, remember? I'm sure he'll be back for the next one day series. Selectors may also be doing this to take him out of his comfort zone, so that he's in full mode at World cup 2011.

@ Guest? Really but last time he couldn't even hit sixes in IPL too. hence Zinta had to announce "Yuvi is like a brother to me'.
;) ..and then anyone could see his moron like face throughtout the tournament!

He is 37yrs and has been playing for the past 20 yrs. He has to decide and retire on his own. He is simply blocking youngsters chance in the team to play and also to make some money.

absoultely i agree with you. Its not only Sachin but also add other seniors like Dravid, laxman and others. We have already seen slump in test performance after Kumble's retirement. We should learn to respect seniors

do u think helping India means getting these amenities to them..??....Sachin is 37....the most successful player in the past 10-15 years (globally) and is still the most cosistent player in the recent squad....i guess the new comers and the oldies shud learn from him on how to play consistently for a span of 20 years....if he is playing cricket, he is not only playing but contributing to the success of the team....hope you need to brush up the past records and the recent forms and then comment on the cricket diva from next time on....!!

so , where can i see your contribution to indian society ? please list out few with proof.

Also who are the youngsters he is blocking ? Are you talking about the ones who got thrashed left and right in zimbabwe and sri lanka ?

This is the difference between a Diamond(tendy) and a diamond Wannabe( the loser youngsters) . One shines no matter what , the other one offers shine only when the diamond shines.

This is also the reason why your kind will be losers no matter what.

I fail; to understand why Irfan is not included in the side despite being a good allrounder. Shame on Selectors. They should give him one chance for him to prove.

irfan is a good allrounder ? wow amazing. you do realize that irfan cannot even make it to the club teams in most countries as a all rounder ?

Its only in india where someone who can roll his shoulders is considered an allrounder. remmeber this is the void left by Kapil Dev. 16 years and counting and we have 0 allrounders who are even 50% of Kapils potential.

You guys will realize only when the irreplacables like tendy/dravid /laxman retire.

Already the after effects of Kumble's retirement is shown wide open. Its only time when you pathetic youngster loving fans realize that the youngsters are just wannabe's . They are an arrogant / brash /irresponsible/ non-commited bunch who should stick to gill danda cricket

Very surprised that Murali Vijay is included despite his failure in Tests before. What more chances does he be given. Mind it he will never be able to perform in Tests. he doesn't have the ability to do well. Anyways time will tell. They should have opt for one all rounder Ashwin or Pathan instead of him. We have enough good batsman and Ishant should not have been selected. Instead Praveen Kumar would have been ideal choice.

mithun doesn't looks like being in the top league, he is good in domestic cricket but doesn't have the pace of atleast nehra or intelligence of zaheer khan.vijay has immense potential, see for the chances given, he will be the mainstay in another 4-5 years.
