RCB's loss against MI was becasue they fielded a part time wicket keeper instead of a regular one.R Uthappa lost 1 stumping chance and gave away 8 byes and those became crucial in the end.But RCB r on top in NRR and they can enter semi if able to beat Highveld Lions.Good luck RCB
I just don't understand in such a democratic country Like India why no one dares to speak against SACHIN TENDULKAR.
Why people like Ravi shashtri and Sunil Gavaskar are scared to say that Mumbai Indians are out of the Champions tropht...
there is no way MUMBAI INDIANS can Qualify as there run rate is less than RCB and lions.
So today's game is irrelevant...
Sachin should have fielded first and scored the runs in less overs to bring his run rate above RCB but knowing Sachin from last 20 years he played only for his name
Whom are you fooling SACHIN, SHASTRI AND GAVASKAR we indians are become more smart in cricket then what we were 20 years before

dont u have guards to stick arround for 21yrs..then itself u talk about someone else..For ur information his name is nominated for Cricketer of the year, Test player of the year, ODI player of the year at the LG ICC Awards 2010 which will be held at Bangalore on 6th Nov..why people are talking to much about Champions league and team like Mumbai Indians, Chennai Super Kings, Royal Challenger Bangalore..First play good cricket for the country and then IPL & Champions League. Still this age of 37yrs he scored 5 centuries this year in tests and 1 century in ODI and that of also world record of 200* not out against S.A. So statistically he is not out of form in this stage and thats why people are not talking against Sachin..people like u only talk against Master Blaster and Cricket Legend Sachin.

Results don't come by one or two players you dumb head. Whole team has to play. Talking silly about legends is merely jealosy because people like you are n't one millionth worth of these players. don't you worry about the age. If youngsters to be given chance, theey have to play better than the veterans. Contribution-wise, older players are doing better, but they can't alone win the matches unless other players chip in too.

rajib sen, did you read my reply to your post. i hope i have cleared your doubts about my motive in writing what i had written. i have written at length.
mallya should carry out an internal enquiry as to why dravid played in this fashion in the last 5 overs, when he scored only 5 runs.was dravid helping MI to win @ the detriment of RCB?
Re: internal enquiry
by shyamsundar on Sep 20, 2010 10:05 AM
Not necessary Dravid is not a pakistani to play like that When kholi was hitting dravid kept his wicket intact U go and play in that situation and then comment

what is common between mumbai indians, abhishek bachchan and andy murray? ans: all of the above are always the favourites but always they fail to deliver when it is most need. ha ha ha.
yesterday RCB lost the match due to one person i.e "rahul dravid".this villian could not hit a single 4/6 in the last 5 overs, infact he could not get his bat onto the ball in the last 2 overs.and this from a man who had opened the innings & was 70 notout.whereas the youngster kohli came to the crease with 5 overs remaining, & blasted 2 sixes, & 5 overs in the 18 balls he faced. dravid should announce his sanyas from IPL20-20 matches, or mallya should send him packing, for the benefit of his team.

U people will tell like this now and if dravid has gone out for that also you will blame him. there is no end for your useless comments

Dravid showed his class once again...he anchored the innings and kept scoreboard moving.. there were another 10 batsman to score remaining runs...dont blame Dravid..

Remove dravids 71 runs from the total that RCB scored... the NRR would have gone down much below the current one. Who else played well... blame 10 others who could not score than blaming one person who held the innings
all dravid haters... u bark wahtever u want, but the fact is RCB still got chnaces to SEMIS, but ur MUMBAI is knocked out.. and ur GANDHULI team not even qualified.. ha ha .... thats enough

what sort of a f message is that! No wonder it comes from a die-hard Dravid supporter...boss our team lost bcos of him!

by Prasad shetty on Sep 20, 2010 01:12 PM
not because of any batsman, because of our bowler, especially in last 4 over MI hit more than 50 runs, because of this we lost the match, better luck nxt time to RCB..

by sumedh gawande on Sep 20, 2010 03:37 PM
firts look his runs...when nobody was able to score runs ,he hanged on there...made d partenership...morever his avg was also almost 125,which is not bad at all....at will be acceped that he dosent have power to hit sixes, but he has the talent to rock the inning....so expect d same from him
Dravid is responsible for RCB loss. He could not accelerate and this put pressure on Kohli. If Dravid had been able to increase his strike rate Kohli would have guided RCB to victory. Dravid is waste in this format.

if not Dravid, they wouldn't have come closer. He played his role as sheet anchor in perfection and also 122 strike rate is not bad considering hitters Uthapa, Ross and white failed miserably. Get a fact right man.

I thought Dravid played a fine innings. Dravid's role is to play the anchor role and he played that perfectly.
You probably have to update your cricket knowledge and then come here to comment on cricket.

Dravid played wonderfully. He was the main reason why Banglore came close to a win.
Blame the three big hitters of Banglore who completely failed...
