what about dravid? he lost the match for bangalore. he should stop playing T20. actually he should stop playing at all. but at least let him make a start with T20

that has been the general story and not only in T20, but in odi and tests also it is the same story. just look what india has achieved in the last 5-6 years. it is only after people like dhoni, gambhir, raina, kohli, irfan pathan, praveen kumar, sreesanth, ishant, ozha, mishra etc. have arrived on the international scene that indian stock has gone up in cricket world and they are recognised as a strong force in all formats of cricket.

just take a look at how many matches in tests, odi and T20 format people like sachin, dravid, ganguly, laxman, kumble have played and how many matches india has won and how many lost when these players were there.

now look how many tests, odi and T20 matches people like dhoni, yuvraj, gambhir, raina, ishant, praveen kumar, ozha, irfan pathan, mishra have played and how many of those matches india have won and how many india has lost.

the difference in winning percentage is stark. nothing can be disguised from these facts.

abhilash, how can other indian batsmen come close to even 20% of what sachin did on bouncy tracks? they are much better than sachin. it is for sachin to come even 20% closer to what other batsmen have done on bouncy tracks, if at all he can.

if there is some help for the bowlers he gets out very soon. even in india if the pitch favours bowlers he cannot do anything. just look at the first test match against SL and SA when they visited us a few months back.

Mr. Sunil I guess u still remember and u have a good cricket knowledge how Sachin was performs in Test series against S.A. and SL.in few months back..U said he cant do anything but for ur memory i tell u that he scored 7, 100 1st test against SA at Kanpur and scored 106 in the second test at Eden.He again scored double century 203 against SL IN SECOND TEST. U cant not expect from any one score century on regular basis because they are human being not a run machine and for SACHIN he scored out 0f 48 test centuries 27 in Away and 21 in Home. So thats tell the story how he played on bouncy track in SA, West Indies, NEW Zeland and Austrailia. For ur knoweldge out of his 48 Centuries (records holder)he made his 1st test century at old Traford 119* against England 1990,then he scored 148* at Sydney against gr8 Australia team of that time 1992, then followed by 114 at Perth against Australia ,then 111 at Johannesburg against SA in 1992. After that he got century in India. So he allready proved himself that he is a good player of bouncy wickets. So u commented on this "probably he never ever did well on bouncy wickets'..ur comment on this is useless..if u know something about cricket then god grace i have some knowledge of cricket.

rajib sen, you may not be saying that Sehwag, Gambhir, Dravid & Laxman have not performed well. but there are some people who DO say that and my post was intended only for them. i am not 'always against sachin'. i have no problems with sachin but i DO have problems with blind and fanatical sachin fans who treat him as god and treat other players, indian as well as foreign as dirt. i DO respect sachin and DO have great admiration for him. but i DO NOT HAVE ANY respect or admiration for those blind and fanatical sachin fans who think it is their duty to attack and abuse and trash other players performances and give credit for their performances to sachin who has never asked for it. these blind sachin fanatics think it is their duty, a sign of respect and worship to their god to give all credit to him and write such things as 'sachin wins matches single handedly for indians' and that he does that 'without any contribution from other 10 players'. such people trash other players usually new generation players from india and write nonsense about them. as i told you before in reply to your post (and in case you missed it, here it is again) i started writing mainly in response to people like LG, Ashish Kumar, Abhi, Arvin g, against pseudos, mumbai chhokra, sameer, sameer bhagwat, senthil, etc. who write nonsense about other players especially dhoni, who inspite of doing so much for indian cricket and taking it new heights is the butt of ridicule of such people.

rajib sen, so instead of admiring and acknowledging dhoni's efforts they are out to smear him. these people are jealous that dhoni has burst suddenly upon international scene and achieved so much in his 5-6 years that even sachin had not been able to achieve that much at a comparable point of time. these people are jealous that dhoni within a short period of time has become as popular as sachin and even overtaken him in endorsement deals. they are so overtaken by their blind rage and hatred against dhoni that they have overstepped all limits while abusing him. they have called him names and even murdered his original name and given him new names and write and joke insultingly about him. please understand that i am not saying that sachin is jealous of him. i am sure such a negative thought has not and will never cross sachin's minds. it is these jealous fans of sachin who write anything about dhoni without pausing for a moment to think whether sachin endorses their views. they say nasty things about dhoni without taking sachin's permission or telling him and think that sachin agrees with them. they do not understand that even sachin has great admiration and respect for dhoni and his abilities and it is said that sachin even recommended his name for captaincy. still these fans speak negatively about dhoni and his captaincy. i am sure sachin looks upon such fans of his the same way that steffi graf must have looked upon that crazy fan of hers who stabbed monica seles.

rajib sen, dont mind me. i am just having some fun. you dont really have to give all these detail stats about sachin. i know all about that. i have watched him since his first test. i was only baiting blind and fanatical sachin fans who give credit to sachin for everything even for things he did not do or cannot do. my post was not intended for those sachin fans who are also appreciative of other players.

rajib sen, if indeed you are among those cricket fans who are fair to everybody and are reasonable and open and not write blindly in favour of somebody and write blindly against some other players, i have nothing against you. if you have not abused any other player while crediting sachin only, i have nothing bad to say about you.

i repeat that i am only against those cricket fans (?) who are so blinded and dazzled by sachin's centuries and longevity that they cannot see anything else. these people do not notice other players outstanding performances and go so far as to give the credit of these performances to sachin. i am against those blind and fanatic fans of sachin who treat others like dirt. nowadays their favourite whipping bag is dhoni, because he has come out of nowhere and with his explosive, flamboyant, daring, outstanding, and consistent performances has managed to put even hardhitters like sehwag and yuvraj in the shadows. he has taken india to new heights and blind and fanatical sachin fans think of that as sacrilege. they think that it is blasphemous to give credit for india win to anybody other than sachin.

rajib sen, dhoni has been impeccable in his behaviour/conduct so far and can be compared even with sachin in that respect. he has been humble and appreciative of other players and their performances. he has been respectful of everybody and has won hearts of all by his courtesy and indomitable spirit. he gets respect and admiration from his peers and seniors. even sachin, dravid, ganguly, kumble, laxman, kapil, gavaskar etc. are all impressed by him and appreciate him. his graciousness and maturity has impressed everybody. his cheerfulness, smiling face and cool, composed and relaxed manner never-say-die attitude is infectious and lifts his colleagues while playing matches.

i do not doubt sachin's integrity at all and any such insinuations that i have made recently are just for baiting the blind sachin fanatics and raise their hackles. i am just out to tease, make fun of them and enjoy their anger and discomfiture. i am just answering them back in their own language as i have grown quite impatient with their constant and needless abuse of other indian players and doubting everybody's integrity and intentions. i am paying them back with their own coin, with their own language and weapons.

rajib sen, i know my posts in the last few days have upset and rankled you. you are wondering about my intentions etc. so today i have answered your questions at length. i hope you have understood my motivation and my posts of today will put your troubled mind to rest.

Which must be the reason why he averages more than 50 in Perth (WACCA), considered to be the fastest wicket in the world, where he scored a century as a 19 year old kid back in 1992. Also must be the reason why he averages 62 in England, 50 in New Zealand and 47 in West Indies.

Also, must be the reason why he averages 53 odd outside Asia.

What Mr.Dire Straits said is absolutely right..he scored lots of centuries and already having good avg on bouncy track..
