UDRS is definetly needed to resolve disputed catches, as often the Umpire wouldn't be in a position to hear the nick propoerly, in all the crowd's noise. However, I have clearly seen in the cases of LBW, The umpires don't entirely rely on the UDRS feedback by the 3rd umpire. The on field umpires are still allowed to take a decison on the field. This is what Indian's are mostly objecting to. Also, the bump ball is not effectively captured in UDRS. Either the angles are wrong or the resolution is inadequate. In my opinion, if the UDRS is used only for catches then India should easily adopt.
Indians are dared because they have spinners by which they can get decision on there favor even though it is notout. in srilanka they used they got sachin out using the UDRS. so Indians know it will go against them that's why are are opposing.

In my view oppose or favor is team’s right, same as teams prepared pitches as per their strength. But we need to see it in totality if technology is perfect then nothing wrong in go for it, ex. It is working well in run out but still LBW decision can not be given on the basis of technology. But it can be used in caught behind and in doubtful catches.

that's why Indians are dared bcoz most of the wickets what they get is doubtful only. if UDRS is used Indians wont get those decisions in favor of them.

then why the Indian players are telling as "foolproof". if they have the guts let them accept it openly as other teams. this shows that we that is Indian team or BBC is dared about this system. if we used UDRS India would have lost the 1st test match.
