Selfish Dhoni..
by Vortex on Oct 21, 2010 09:40 AM  | Hide replies

When 36 runs was required from 42 balls Mr.Dhobi comes in crease for betterment of his average in ODi's and miserably ended in collecting duck no.6 of his career. Rather he should have given chance to fellow Jharkhand man Saurabh Tiwari....

u are 100% right.
This game he is playing for last 2 yrs & able to maintain his avg in ODI. Always score few runs in non presure situation, play not out inning & inflate his avg.
Though in teat & T-20 his avg is still pathetice even after doing manipulation.
He is the most selfish, maipulative, political & regional biased cricketer in history of indian cricket.
Now days people link luch with dhoni.

few facts which cannot be ignored.

1. Fitness of young players like kohli is poor. need improvement.

2. ozie are a spent force...not the same type of venom they used to have when waugh, haydos, symmo, gilly, etc were playing.

3. time for dhobi to call it a day and go back to his place in jharkhand and stay with his wife....he is also a spent force. .

Todays indias team has lots of guts and willpower than it used to have while kapil dev, srinath, jadeja, ajhar, manjrekar, etc type of people used to play....that team had the potential to lose any match under any circumstances

In ODI our performance is very poor in last 2 yrs & T-20 it is pathetic.
In ODI we are ranked 3 & in T-20 it is 7th. Reason no senior in T-20 & in ODI also only 2 senior plays sachin/sehwag.
In ODI also we won agianst quality team only when sachin/sehwaf fired. Politician dhoni & his banar sena all flat track bullies- not capbale of winning agianst quality team

MSDhoni mentioned that 5/6 places are still up for grabs for the next year's WC. I think Virat Kohli has more or less sealed his place with his fine and matured innings today.
I think the following are certainties for WC
Sehwag, Sachin, Gambir(if he recaptures his form), Dhoni, Harbajan, Zaheer, Nehra, Yuvraj, Kohli. We must also have an additional wicket keeper. The remaining places are to be fought out by the aspiring candidates.
