well done Ricky Ponting. Not only he personally did well, but also pushed the experienced Indian players to their limits. The one thing the Aussies lacked in the series was some experience in their bowling and for a lesser extent their lack of application by the batsmen in the second innings.
Indian captains particularly Azhar and Dhoni are lucky to have captained India when Sachin is at his peak form. During Saurav's captaincy Sachin had some injury problems and not at his peak.
But now Sachin is complete batsman... he has tightened his defence, now no gap between bat and pad.... water tight defene..
Great to see him bat like this.. we may never see another batsman bat like this in future.
pujara is down to earth player. pujara had stated that it was his mother's dream that he wud play test match for the country n he made a marvellous debut making useful contribution playing 1 down position.

True. Indian bowlers have been the reason for a lot of our victories. But they never get the praise they deserve. We are a batsmen centric nation.

I think the game of Cricket was designed for English conditions. Since weather is mostly hot in India, at least we should provide some assistance to fast/spin bowlers through the pitch.
Your aura and confidence that you carry to the field is quite amazing.You are the best captain India has ever found. Your unselfish service to the nation is really adorable. It is because of your cool and motivating guidance that both young and old are performing without pressure. Indian Cricket is at the pinnacle .. full credit to you .. India's blessing is with you .. yeah.. right! what has been his contribution in these 2 tests other than losing the toss? some of his tactics are good but overall, he is just lucky..

It is not easy to unite Indians from different states under one banner.
For those critics who say sachin does not perform when India is in trouble.
The actual reason is most of the time India feels to be in trouble when SRT gets out. When SRT is at the crease nobody panics. But when he gets out all players around him feels team is in big trouble except for VVS and Dravid.
This innings & innings against England in Chennai are recent examples where India would have felt it would be in trouble but won comfortably, thanks to SRT
