where are the slaves of whites,your master (ponting)had very weak series this time also,still not reached the strike rate of 53 and was totaly failed in second innings of first match not able to touch the double figure,even against weak indian bowling attack was playing as if debutant and scared,so it is nice advice to you slaves to stop barking against tendulkar performance who had very stunning century and strike rate even in Perth the fastest pitch in cricketing world and your master (punter)had very minnow score in self home pitch .

See example of Australia. Same team under ponting captaincy win 18 consecutive test & no. 1 in world as they had players like Gilly, hyden, warne, mcgrath , ponting himself etc. Once they retire Aus start loosing & now ranked 4 under same captain. It is a clear example that players win matches & not captain. Most imp thing is captain must deserve a place in team on merit & unfortunately dhoni doesn’t deserve it as a palyer

Another dhobighaat supporter without any brain. Dhoni is the most mediocre, political & regional biased captain in history of Indian cricket. India has not become no.1 in test in 1yr time. But it is continous effort of ganguly, dravid, kumble & dhoni just carried that momentum as a captain. We are no.1 in test courtesy all great seniors & politician dhoni has not played any role there. As a batsman he is pathetic. See only one snior playing in ODI & our performance in ODI under same captaincy is very inconsistent & we are ranked 3 there. In T-20 no senior & we have lost 70% of matches in last 2 yrs under same useless captain. We are ranked 7th there under same captain. In test also once sachin/dravid/laxman retire India will go back to 7th ranking. Dhoni as a batsman in Test/T-20 is pathetic & never deserve a place as a player. There are so many better players than him. Captain has no role to play in test win. It is just a hype created by media, add agency & few regional fanatic fans in India so that even avg player like dhoni can continue in team without performance.

U r absolutely right. A captain is only as good as the team he has. One aspect you have forgotten while talking of the test team seniors is that u have missed out sachin & Laxmsn. These 2 are the main pillars behind India's success in tests
the last few years indian team has very good record and one of the main reason is the atmoshpere in the dressing room. the type of players playing and the great wonderful captain dhoni.
all the change that can be seen in the last 3 years (in sachin as well as all the other players) is because of the person who is at the helm for that time period. m s dhoni. the single most important factor for the change in the outlook in the indian team. the great catalyst dhoni.
look how this catalyst has brought about a big change in the mindset of the all the indian players, even sachin tendulkar himself. why he has started to enjoy his cricket even more than before. as he himself admitted the present team under dhoni is entirely different from any other previous indian team.

So if the dressing room atmosphere is responsible for tendy's good form, can we associate the same for the bad form of dravid, rp singh, ishant, harbhajan, nehra,sreesanth etc ?

sameer, yes that is true. dravid, rp singh, ishant harbhajan nehra sreesanth etc. all their good form also because of dressing room atmosphere.
you know how for example zaheer and harbhajan bowled in SA champions trophy. who was captain then?
you know how zaheer, harbhajan, ishant, ozha have performed in last test and now. who is the captain?

Whenever Tendulkar gets record and scores big, Ind loses. He has the 200, now he'll not field, stand by in the 4th inn since he's done for the match. why bother to win or save the game? True tendulkar style.
