Sachin Plays for his record.
by Manish Gupta on Oct 10, 2010 07:38 PM  | Hide replies

Sachin is extremely talented.. no doubt. But he pays more focus on his personnel record than team's win. If he is so genious then how can we loose a match when he is in great form.

can you pls quote the number of occasions when the Indian Team won Sachin being out early? that would remind you "Sachin" is not too keen on hitting new records :)

Manish Gupta:

Thanx for giving the answer... :)

If only others paid more focus on their personal performance than indulge in politics and commenting on things that aren't their business; we could have won heaps more matches... :)

India's early diwali gift to north and paine
by Rajan S on Oct 10, 2010 07:26 PM  | Hide replies

I just can't understand how they got 478 odd runs from a position of 200/4 with only their lower middle order left for batting. North was under pressure for his place and even tim paine doesn't have any record to speak of, as he is a newcomer to speak of.
We never exerted any pressure when these players came to the crease. When tim paine came, we continued to bowl with raina and sehwag from both ends and that let him settle,
And same is the case with north. The first 10 overs since his arrival saw, them getting more than 40 runs. That was a small blunder but cost india dearly. I don't think the great aussie sides under steve waugh etc will be so generous like this with the opposition
EVEN THE AUSSIES WOULD HAVE BEEN SURPRISED BY THE EARLY DIWALI GIFT FROM INDIA

This is not fair comparison. Murli is all time great bowler and Sachin is all time great batsman.
We should proud that both belong to subcontinent and from almost same culture.
