sorry.. abuse is not what you would like to fight for..remember what you throw..is what you get..sometimes more than you bargained for
The Aussies went through a painful transition losing McGrath, Warne, Gilchrist and Hayden to name a few after Steve Waugh and are still competitive with the top test nation. What is worrying is India hasn't rotated or tested its bench strength keeping in mind that the troika of Sachin, Rahul and VVS will be gone in a couple of years. It would be a good idea to start resting two or at least 1 of these 3 on a rotation basis and start seeing how the new players would perform. All thought Yuvraj was a shoo in for Ganguly. Now it looks like it might be Raina. Only time will tell. Also it might be better to test out the new middle order players while the 3 greats are still in the team to spend time in actual match conditions in the middle. All the off field encouragement and guidance means little when you are in the middle of an actual test. Takes a while to replace 4 great middle order greats in the batting line up. I hope the cricketing board takes cognizance of the approaching deadline. It took us a long time to reach the top. Lets not lose it in a hurry.

Result is known. Last home series against SA . 1st test both Dravid & VVS rested due to injury. India lost match by an inning margin under same politicain captain dhoni. Result is obvious, if u rest 2 out of 3 greats, india will loose against quality opposition. lets enjoy win as long as these greats are fit.
