you are the best sehwag
by Sunil Vaidya on Oct 07, 2010 03:44 AM  | Hide replies

Whenever I score fast, I tend to get the team into a winning position, It is a strength which only I have. "No one else has this ability."

you are absolutely right Sehwag! You are the one who is really responsible for opponent side getting demoralised with your brutal attack and setting india on the road to victory. we have all seen that for the last 10 years.

All the power to you dear Sehwag! keep on ignoring your critics. that is exactly what they deserve.

sameer, i have not cooked up any critics. you ask who are sehwag critics. okay i will name a few for your benefit. they are people like you yourself sameer, lg, senthil, against psuedos, arvin g, sunil k, etc. who always say that sachin is the only matchwinner for india. all rest are useless, worthless, play for money, for glory, without any responsibility, careless etc. etc.

sameer i have told you the names of some of his critics. i hope you will do some introspection. i agree that you also have fought sometimes for sehwag. recently i have witnessed your fight for sehwag against senthil and lg, but such occasions are very few and far between.

most of the times you have also joined the critics bandwagon. he plays irresponsibly, he is careless, he doesn't consider the team condition or requirement, he just slogs, he has to get rid of this attitude of his that this is how i play, i am like that only etc. etc.

i have often said that sehwag, gambhir, dravid, laxman do all the hard work and sachin runs away with the credit. at such times you have abused me, ridiculed me and questioned my cricketing knowledge. but ask yourself haven't you also played the following record many times- sachin ''single-handedly'' wins matches for india, ''without any contribution from other 10 players''. at such times sameer you also join them and trashed other 10 players performances, and among these other 10 players sehwag is also present.

i hope i have answered your question.

sameer you have also acted like a blind sachin fanatic many times.

when you join others and say sachin ''single-handedly'' wins matches for india ''without any contribution from other 10 players'' what exactly you think you are doing?

sachin is not the only one with 50 plus average in the indian team. for many years he has batted with players like sehwag, gambhir, dravid and laxman (for most part of his career, if you exclude his stats for the first 2-3 years when he was not so successful)who have performed with 50 plus average with the bat.

when you praise your GOD understand that it is these players that you are trashing.

eagerly waiting your response (defence)

Right, he is the world's most exciting batsman today, a batter who can slaughter any bowling attack when on song. The modern day's KING Sir Vivian Richards, he has the same daring and bravado who can take the fight into the rival's camp and make them cower in fear. King Viv and Viru are players who come once in a life time and it is our pleasure to watch them in prime.

Sachin is not deprived of ability to play like Sehwag.. he can whenever he wants... infact he used to.. he doesnt throw his wicket unlike Sehwag.... He can never ever even dream of going ahead of Sachin..

@ Tendusach
"ASK SACHIN TO PLAY WHEN THE TEAM NEED THE MOST..NOW HE WIL FART..."
But I think Sehwag farted louder than Sachin in ast match when the team needed him to most (as you guys say "when needed or in presure situations"), because Sachin scored some 24 runs more than Sehwag!
What say dear? And what about if Sachin had been failed in 1st innings as well and if Aussies lead were some 100 runs around?

And..if having a high strike is the criteira of becoming a better batsman then Sehwag is also no closer to Afridi! Afridi's strike rate in ODI is 113, in tests is 87 compare to Sehwag's 103 in ODi and 81 in tests! But does this make Afrisi a better batsman than Sehwag?

Have you forget Sachin's winning knock @ Australia in Sharjah & @ Pakistan in World cup 2003. Don't forget he is the first person to make 200 runs in One day international.

bhosdiwale sachin has been doing it all alone..u guys dont remember cricket in late 90s i guess. Now the point is that there are other players who are good but not as good as sachin..for Dhoni, sehwag, raina, sharma, all their role modal is sachin. sehwag can play only in flat pitches. the ballers sehwag faces these days are pappu..sachin has faced very good ballers when they were at peak. i still rember south africa and austarlia were just bothered about sachins wicket 90. Rest of indian wicket were falling like just peck of cards
People used to switch off their TVS when sachin got out
he used to play 10 years ahead level..

@ target!
Yup..like a world cup is everything in cricket world. But he has given his best to win a WC for india but what if other don't support him? He has been top scorer in two world cups and has taken India to once final and on other occasion in semi final.
It's not his fault if india couldn't win a WC then!
Scoring 6x50 and 1x100 in just 11 innings isn't a joke boy! If you have a target 350 you have to play out of your own and anything could happen then. You can be out or you can get away with this!

Sachin did the best we could not win world cup beacuse we never had great bunch of fast baller who could do the damage consistently.
