Why bring regionalism ?
by Gopi on Nov 17, 2010 09:36 PM

It is sad that HCA started a regionalism trend. They gave award money to Laxman and Ohja after a Test match. They could have given it on a different occasion. Definitiely Laxman deserves it, but starting this regional trend is not a healthy thing.

2nd test finished quite good
by ashish vhatkar on Nov 16, 2010 11:06 PM

If Zaheer would in for bowling the things could be different. But well tryed by Kiwis to save the match. One thing i saw was tim southee bowled many shot balls to Shreesant in first innings so Shreesant replied bolwing shot balls to southee. In 3rd test Zaheer could come back. Get well soon Zaheer

by Satish Pujari on Nov 16, 2010 08:09 AM  | Hide replies

Let us hope we chase whatever target NZ sets us.

Time for Sehwag and Sachin to demonstrate their run making ability....

Raina should come upto no. 3.

Bangis and Pakis
by Gurjot Singh on Nov 16, 2010 03:17 AM  | Hide replies

Everything is clear after watching the fact that NZ is capable of giving wold's top rated team a run for their money. It is very clear. While Paki trio have been duly suspended by ICC, Bangis are getting a free ride. BD has admitted many times that their players have been approached by bookies. Their series with NZ was obviously fixed. It is time for ICC to expel both Pakis and ex-Pakis (i.e. Bangis)

I didn't understand your message at all.....

Why do you want Bangladesh to be expelled if New Zealand had fixed the series with bookies? Can you please explain?

No one indulges in fixing other than Pakis. The Kiwis never do that for they are quite well paid and morally too they are upright

Gary

So you think they are inherently so bad as to lose all 4 matches to a rank small timer team such as Bangladesh? I mean you really think New Zealand is the worst team doing the rounds of the ODI circuit today and that infamous distinction (of losing all matches that they play) is no longer held by Bangladesh?

I am fine with your appraisal of the New Zealanders' skills (or lack thereof); but just wanted to make sure that's what you meant.... :)

Glad to see McCullum back among runs!

He is such a prolific hitter. Sends shivers down my spine recalling his big hitting innings for KKR in the firsy edition of IPL. Glad to see him back amongst runs as this breed of players is fast disappearing.

Looks Like this Test is heading for a draw, unless there is a miraculous collapse of NZ innings early AND then India gets a explosive start off by Viru.

U PakiPig, Match fixers are found only in your disgraced beggar cum failed nationPornistan. Shameless fellow, three of your so called famous players were caught red handed and many more are in pipeline. One ran away and others are in the dock.

That is the shape of your failed state, dont crow abt Indian team, which unlike your beggar nation players are paid well and dont indulge in match fixing. Look inwards and u will find many skeletons in your beggar nation's cupboard, all in the begging bowl.. he he he...

Fixing is done by only Pakis for it is in their blood. They are habituated to it and the entire mafia kings are all based there.

Bhajji
by raj on Nov 15, 2010 07:42 PM  | Hide replies

Going to kill anyone who says Bhajji is our next allrounder. Allready India lost bowler like Phathan in search of allrounder. Anyday bhajji getting 4 wickets is invaluable compare to 100 runs. India doesn't HAVE and need allrounders PERIOD . All we need is good (decent) bowlers who can trouble the batsmen and pick couple of wickets.Bhajji please concentrate on bowling more. For god's sake , I want to see your off break turning and beating the bat.
