I dont know why these guys mentions all these things
by jithu on Nov 09, 2010 12:10 PM

Biography means they should write their career highlights and dropdowns. How he fought. These kinda things. But for their sale purpose they will write all these things, which is of no use for readers. What ever may be, indians will enjoy in the way they know. SA will enjoy like monkeys thats their style. No 1 has right to question all these things. With this we can say maturity level of arthur is par less.

SA are chokers!!
by Sagar Suranglikar on Nov 09, 2010 12:07 PM

a win under tense, seemingly lost situations alwayz brings out strong reactions..sadly these south africans will never understand that as they alwayz choke when in such situations..n so celebrations, wild or mellow, never come into picture for them..

Arthur, grapes are always sour, when it is not reached.

May be in ur country its a tradition to use alcohal sharing and throwing on each other as a expression of Joy, India is a multi cultural andmulti religious country , we respect our food be it alcohol . Can you please explain why ur Hashim Amla doesnot have a sponsers logo on his playing dress? I will tell you, cos the sponser is an alcohol company and as a muslim, he dont want to market it, so when u can digest ur own sht, why cant you digest our.

There is nothing unfair in celebration...Players from different countries will celebrate in their own manner... When Flintoff removed his shirt while celebration, nobody found anything wrong in that.. But, when Ganguly done the same thing, many critics blamed him...This is just the difference in perception...So, nothing to blame...Just to think that they expressed their happiness in winning...
They are not doing anything bad when they lose the game...

Look at your team first, Mr Arthur!
by sandeep kumar on Nov 09, 2010 11:46 AM  | Hide replies

Finding fault with someone spraying coke?? LOL! WHat about the SA team esp when donald and nel were playing? They used to abuse the opposition and we all know that the whole team discussed to fix the match in dec 1996 in bombay. Arthur cant stand the new confident aggresive India, which knows its place and stands No1, unlike his team which apart from steyn and kallis has no international class player

Good Observation

Very well observed by Micky Arthur.
Its true that the youngsters lack the humbleness and calmness in which our seniors approach the game.
The youngsters have such good role models in sachin, dravid, laxman and dhoni that they should try to emulate.
I dont understand why they must get so angry on reaching a 100.
earlier our keepers used to run and cry for a dismissal. Its only after dhoni arrived we see less of that over appealing.

You are correct. Arthur asking the youngsters to watch the humble way Sachin, Dravid and Dhoni approach a win while Sreesanths, Bhajjis, Yuvarajs go wild. There is no need to find fault with him.

Understand cultures
by ROBY STEPHEN on Nov 09, 2010 11:38 AM  | Hide replies

Ofcourse giving respect to the opposition is important . But guys like Mickey Arthur and some of the brits and australians feel that the whoile world should follow their customs and that thiers is the only right culture in the world. These frogs in the well will never improve in their arrogance and complexes. They tell about the banter of the youngsters and crib about culture when their own women stay with hardly any cloth being worn and open to the world's eyes through TV sipping beer and liquor . These boors don;t see this exhibitionism as wrong , because it is their filthy culture and they ignorantly feel that anything theirs is the only right in this world.

So ask this Mickey to go to hell , at the same time, our youngsters if they have done anything bad should be advised to mend their ways , by seniors in the team

ofcourse Mr. roby you are right , but then we as indians, senior players as adults, and young players , who arevsupposed to carry the our national image in coming days must be attentive to this type of behaviour , hopre you remeber shivramakrishnan, Kambli ... few more such arrogant behaviour not only spoils your own sports but also our national image
Your point is fully proven , but we as indians have a strong need of introspection
