Former Pakistan captain Rashid Latif says cricketers from all Test-playing nations indulge in spot-fixing and some matches are scripted "like movies".

He is a crookedAsshole who thinks that he is very innocent and pure while all others are haraaaam. His words needs to be taken with a pinch of salt.

He was a controversial character in his playing days distrusted by his own team mates.

May be an excuse

It can be a nice excuse to seek political asylum in UK. He knows that he cannot earn much in Pak cricket, so after a few days will join a county with a good offer and also enjoy UK residency which is far superior than Pak. A smart move indeed!!

Cricket is a corrupt
by zidane on Nov 09, 2010 05:34 PM  | Hide replies

Entire cricket is corrupt controlled by fixing mafias from dubai. We in India watch this dirty useless game. Dubai goons managed to put pressure on ICC to cover up the gruesome murder of Bob Woolmer. This is the state of cricket..real shame

What is happening to this gentle mens game, what ICC is doing It should stop Pakistan from playing international cricket until and unless the mess is cleared.

Back to back fixing.. this disgusting Shame on all Pak players involved in this fixing and shame on team management,
I guess top level management is involve in this fixing.. including Iajez Bhutt

retirment!
by naveen dhanerwal on Nov 09, 2010 05:18 PM  | Hide replies

lol, another retirment from a paki cricketer!
This country is full of jokers. Every now and then one player announace or forced to announace his retirment and then after a short period comes back or brings back in to the team; no matter if he plays cricket in meanwhile but chances are he'll be back in team as a captain!
Example is Misbah who has made captain for test matches and sent to Dubai with ODI team but after played in two matches warmed the bench for the rests. Many senior cricketers in Pakistan had said that Misbah is the most talented player in Pak (?) cricket and should have been made captain 5 years ago!
