It may be noted that India was in a similar stage in the test match played with Australia recently. It was only the show of Laxman that saved India from a loss and rather helped team to win. But he was not given the MAN OF THE MATCH. Why are the judges showing this discrimination? Wasn't his 73-run knock the saviour score? Doesn't he deserve the award? Very unfair with him. This is the reason, why the Indian team is not achieving the level it deserves.

We must remember that cricket is a team game. Yes, more often than not Laxman bats with the tail and never gets due recognition for his efforts. He is one of the unsung heroes of Indian cricket's resuregnt performances!!

You are correct if laxman made century then also harbajan will get man of the match this is shows partiality in indian cricket between north and south

the only difference is Harbajan scored half centure in the first inning and century in the second.
Congratulations to Harbhajan for scoring a century.I knew he could hit the ball a long distance.I didnt think he would score a century in a test match so early.Tailenders have scored a century in test matches.

his contribution for this match is Harbajan scoring century...didn't you hear Bajji say that...and his contribution is 1250 runs so far which helped win series against Sri Lanka and Australia and this was the only match he scored less...

even i am fan of VVS but we should expect sachin to perform every time...................i m unhappy with sachin .............he should have played a matured inning.........in the 2nd inning..............no problem .......................after all he is GOD for few of my fanatic friends

THough I appreciate his performance with the bat, I hate his form with the ball . On any day I'll take bhajji getting two important wickets over 50 runs scored. India desparately need a bowler who can bowl at least like Ojha.Bhajji in current form doesn't fit that role.
Congratulations Harbhajan for your maiden century. He can be really good all rounder what India need in test and ODI. Another important point: He is the most experience bowler in a team but can not take more wicket than ojha. Not in this match but last so many. That pressure on him might bring his batting form......which is healthy competition and good for country.
