No.1 test team
by Joel martins on Nov 08, 2010 03:20 PM  | Hide replies

India is able to save the test after being 15 for 5 (overall lead about 40 runs)in the second innings and about 4 sessions remaining. These are signs of a true world no.1 team.

Fisrt Test Match

Harbhajan, You are truly great both at bowling and batting. India needs you very badly.Your performance was like a true all rounder. All the so called seasoned batsmen have once again failed miserably. Perhaps they have a few things to learn from your calm and collected nature. You came at a very critical time for India. If this had taken place in Pak they would have certainly asked the ICC to investigate! Shame you top order batsmen. All of you have failed miserably once again. The chinks show notwithstanding the fat purses.

I agree that the most useless player is dravvid. But he is great actor and pretending he has injured his hand when the camera is focussed on him. he got a fluke 100 and he has lots of pull with the selectors so he can stay in the team till he falls flat on his face. He misses easy and important catches and will not run except for his own score. The media also is in his good books so till he is 100 years old he will be in the team. This is team fixing. Please dont put him in the same class as Lakshman or Tendulkar who play for India whereas he plays only for himself.

Indians were scared of a defeat after their dramatic collapse yesterday and instead of playing for a result they batted on and drew the match. What a bore.!

When our top order batsman fails, this man arise with tail enders.
I just saw today he averages around 48 in TEST.
Unbelievable, the class he posses with such a low batting average.

48 in tests is not at all a bad average batting a number 5 and 6. If he was batting at 3, he would have had something above 50. But he is India's unsung hero.

Indian test cricket players are no 1 in ranking see how best they scored in top order batting 15 for six. Send all the top order batsman for training at the gullidanda ground and select all ballers team for next game . Only balletrs. many times ballers played well when all top order collapsed .

Indian team is number 1 by chance, if they have guts why not they declare when 50 over left and India’s total lead was 225. They did not try to take risk. Very poor captaincy of Dhobi and poor planning.

They are playing an international test match, not a high stakes gambling match or a poker game. The Kiwis do have some good hitters like McCullum and Taylor. No sense in taking a risk.
