India has only 4 players - searching for 7 more
by One Liner on May 20, 2010 05:50 AM  | Hide replies

We have only 3 or 4 old warhorses (Sachin, Rahul, Laxman, Anil) which can still give a very tough fight to you. But all the young ponies are weak kneed. So we dont have 11 players. See you later. Bye

give some break

Please allow the people of this country to work. most people like and love cricket, but too much will spoil it . already it is in the hands of big business houses and underworld including ministers. let us enjoy it with a sport spirit and not with money spirit. cricket has become a money minting business for many in India.

Why organising night matches.India is already short of electricity.Arrange matches in day time to save electricity.

To save electricity, we need to stop the free doling out of it via both legal and illegal means and we need to start making more of it... but not organizing the occasional cricket match is not the solution.

night test matches
by Gurwinkle on May 19, 2010 10:28 PM  | Hide replies

if you really want the test matches to be in day night based then why pink ball,go for white ball itself,ya it will not as great as red ball because red ball swings more than white ball, why not if you want to save the test cricket and then you think day night can save the test cricket..

White balls with white clothing wont work. They will have to start using colored clothing for tests too

I would love colored balls and clothing -- the more we stay away from the English standards the better ... and we should improve the quality and use SG balls instead of Dukes or Kukkaburra.
