Do you think that if a player refuses to endorse,he will be left alone by brokers and middleman from threatening them or their place in BCCI. The reality is different my friend

crickets r always accused now a days for making too much money through commercials and ads.i would like tyo ask those people suppose if they dont make money then who do u think would help them in old age when their parents or themselves get into troubles and health problems.i can name numrous cricket and hockey players of the 60s and 70s 80s who were later in old age were dependent on charity and nearly begging.who the hell helped them ? bcci or hockey fedration or us the people accusing them.u play for india all ur life but the government and the country does not give a damn when u r our of job and old.its a hard cruel world out there so it better to make some money when the sun rises.they dont have a government job kind og job where u work for 40 years and get bribe too other then the salary. a players career is sometimes very short lived like an year or so .

playing for the country is a PRIDE. Players playing for Team India do it for national honour.. if they want to earn money they should have joined government job or private sector job instead of playing for TEAM INDIA...

I am sayin in addition that today International cricket give you enough money so that you can live a good life even after you retire from the cricket.. Please understand I am saying who are playing for TEAM INDIA, not state or district level matches. Players from AUS, WI, NZ, SA dont do ads.. do they live a life of 'aam aadmi' in their country.. ofcourse you cannot buy a hummer or a Ninza, but you can still live a good live if you are playing for Indian Team.

Can you say the same thing for army men? If they start working in ads for making money rather than doing the job which they have assigned... I am sure your (a_a_ass) with be ridden with bullets in just about a week by the chinese then... if you support cricketers also support others who are serving the nation.. will the army men doing ads for money is okay for you????

Karnataka Soaps
by Avinash Manegar on May 19, 2010 02:39 PM

When this guy didn't have any endorsement when he started his career, Karnataka Soaps (Mysore Sandal Soap) roped him for their brand ambassador, he only gave them 1 ad and once he got big offers, he forgot his commitment to Karnataka Soaps and did not appear for any ad shooting. Now he sues companies for not paying him.. this shows what a team leader he is.

A bad phase.
by Shamindi Pathirana on May 19, 2010 02:38 PM

We all hav bad phases in life n no one blames us for that. Maybe Dhoni is going through such a bad phase and he'll come out of it soon. It's not nice to break someone who's already down. Plus he is as human as all of us.

Our present WC T20 team is the best combination for 2011 world cup. Raina, Yusuf Pathan, Yuvraj are flat track bullies and will pound any opposition on subcontinent wickets.

Endorsement Opportunities
by B M on May 19, 2010 02:36 PM  | Hide replies

After the WC disaster, endorsement opportunities for team India members have narrowed considerably. In the new market, the following products have found brand ambassadors in the Indian team:

1. Kamasutra condoms: Yuvraj Singh
2. Hamam soap: MS Dhoni
3. Parachute hair oil: Harbhajan Singh
4. Prestige Pressure Cooker: Yusuf Pathan
5. Lux Underwear and Banian: Suresh Raina
6. Lijjat Papad: Zaheer Khan

Abe Ghade, why could Dhbi not make his players to perform in T20WC?

Keep this bullshit to yourself.

India is still a developing country, not the developed one, because of fools like you who enjoy mediocrity and hype it to no limit.

We are eternal worshippers of mediocrity, perfect example being the celebrity status accorded to 1-round tennis player like Sania Mirza.
