Yes ! The winning team should claim thta they won 2010 20-20 World Championship ,nothing beyond . See winners of the past they claimed they were champions of 20-20 format .They bit dust . Hope England will learn what to say after winning the chamionship.

what about paper tigers then ? you should have some kind words for them as well right ?
Great T-20,2010 World Championship WIN for England which has never won a World Cup in One Day Cricket. They WON now in 3 Hours Super Short T20.But Cricket is Cricket. Those lime me who have played it know it.I have played T5 too.It will do the likes of Mike Brearley,Ian Botham,Geoff Boycott-The English Cricket Legends proud.Congrats to skipper,Collingwood and young team.
The timing of IPL and the kind of life these players is the crux of the problem. The discipline should come from top, when we have highly known corrupt ppl like Pawar at the helm of affairs, can we expect anything different

All foreign players were also seen in IPL parties. Then how come they have been successful. The truth is that Indian players are all flat track bullies. They fail miserably when they are put on a bouncy wicket against short pitched bowling.

Especially foreign players like Hussey brothers, Eoin Morgan, Michael Lumb, Shaun Tait, Shane Watson, KP, David Warner, etc were regulars at IPL parties.
Do you think BCCI cares if India won or lost? They are angry with Dhoni because he blamed BCCI's cashcow. Now BCCI will mend the rules of IPL to include more than 4 foreign players each team so that they could have more crowd pullers aka the English, Australians and Pakistan players.
The fact is most of the british players participated and got match practice in IPL (KP, Collingwood, Allan Lumb...etc)...they also participated in the IPL parties...you can see their pics...but they won and they never complained...!!! That is unaffected cricket professionalism and mental fitness...!!!

Remember foreign players didnt play all the matches due to 4 player restriction per match. Which means they had the right practice whereas Indians were overworked.

yeah ur rite...but what Im quoting is about players who have performed the most. KP infact played most of the Royal challenger matches...Collingwood dint miss much matches for DD and So is Lumb for RR... So it is never over working. The only player who was consistent is Raina who also did well in IPL...the point is all our bunch of guys dint know what to do...when it comes to pace, bounce and short pitches...which was all devoid in IPL...

All these guys did miss some matches including KP. Raina of course yes. But overall these nonstop 50-60 odd IPL matches did seem to have the negative effect on India. I wont be surprised if India start doing well again after some rest. Just see the fact that both T20 WC's immediately after IPL were disastrous for India. And the other one we won when there was no IPL>

hmmm.... optimistic and yes we would all be happy if India starts to perform well after some rest... But still should we consider the offer for short pitch ball batting coaching from the legendary Viv Richards??? At the moment yes I should agree with you...

Safety first - why be a rip van winkle .Enjoy all the money earned .There is no point getting hurt .What is so great - lose the wicket .BE SAFE - A lesson from traffic police.
Phase 2 of the three part project has been executed clinically. First the humiliation at the Ashes and now the world cup triumph. The critical phases for England would be to be rub Ponting to dust during the Ashes. With Swann in its ranks, England can do it...
