And we also have fluke losses What matters is we are consistent with fluke losses. We expect too much of players. If two lessons are not learnt we will be fluke loosers regularly. 1. Take a long rest before big tournaments, practice well 2. Get match practice on conditions similar to those you will face in the tournament. Indian failed because they failed to deal with the rising fast ball. What was the coach doing? The homework was bad. The end result was bad. Good preparation must preceded big tournaments. Another aspect is bowling. Good bowling changes matches. We lacked quality bowling this time.
It is easy for all to make noise, that is all bcse of the big money, may be bishen singh took wickets in his days was a fluke, the current circket formats and schedules may not have had the same effect on bishen,
Let him not issue useless statements to attract attention, who has faded long ago

what u r trying to prove??not getting, dhioni's magical captaincy , that was the reason right?malike magic captaincy spoiled after misbah shot right??or pak enter final was a fluke but indian team was world best at that time..good keep it up
If we win it is by fluke. But if we loose then make lot of noise and pounce on the team and the skipper. Analyse the reasons for defeat and take corrective actions should be the approach
Re: India's 2007 WT20 win was a fluke

The two World cups are different.
1983 - Powerful teams like West Indies, Australia defeated India in league matches very easily. West Indies and England took India very lightly in Final and Semi-finals and they lost rather than Indian team won.
2007 WC - The young and energetic Indian team outclassed other teams having oldies. Exclusion of Tendulkar, ganguly, Dravid and Kumble worked. Other teams fielded their ODI teams which could not cope up with the energy required for T20.
Now both WC wins of India are history which were never repeated. Other teams like Australia, England learned how to play T20 and now on the top. Same is with ODI.
Teams like India, South Africa, WI have good players, but lack the temperament to be champion.
If you want to become a champion, learn from Hussey, White,Collingwood and Pietersen.

Correction - It was 1978.
Hw was not allowed to enter a British club because he wore Indian ethnic dress(Silk Kurta, Pyjama and Ko1hapuri). He v0wed not to attend any club which does not permit people in Indian dress.

Also, I never heard that he was caught drunk during tour to England in 1978. I always heard that he doesn't drink/smoke. His dress episode was known to everyone.
