India is the worst team in the super eight . even afghanistan would given a better fight . Yuvraj singh should be sacked . He is a hybrid creature of monkey and dog .

past performance do not matter in that sense even bring ganguly nd dravid in odis bcoz they have 10000 plus odi runs bring kapil, gavaskar nd many more
Mr.RCB, Few years back there were around 9 Karnataka players representing Indian team. Except Dravid & Kumble rest all are bull shit players from Karnataka. Srinath was good in patches. It was mainly becuase of Vishwanath who was the selector at that time. Now when couple of TN players represented Indian team you guys are fuming. I know your were in your moth*r's womb when Vishy was the selector. First get your cricket stats straight and then open your sewage mouth.

Uthappam & Irfan got enough chances in T20. Vijay has played just 3 T20. He deserves some more chances in T20.
Those days T20 was not there. If Srinath, Venky and Joshi had played T20 they would have shit on there pants. You can't get carried away by the bad performance in T20. Joshi, Srinath & Venky played only 50 over and test matches those days.

U moron. u can only spit shit from ur mouth for greats like srinath and venki and even joshi was far better than today's Murli vijay who can only hit 50 odd runs against Minnows like Afghanistan that too on a slow track. when it came to deliver against quick bowling, he could only manage under 10 scores in all 3 matches. He is W.V.Raman of today, who can only be lions on paper.

talk abt todays world man... why r u comparing with old horses?
Without talent Joshi, Srinath & Venky would'nt have lasted that many years in International Cricket.... moreover remember Venky is CSK bowling coach..

I am realy very surprised that how are you allowed to participate in diascussions like this considering your cricketing brain. If Srinath was good in patches then get you GK right, he alongwith another man Venki(who invented Slow bouncer, which others are using with good effect now) was the spearhead of Pace attack. See i agree that there were many players from Karnatka but surely not nine max of 6 at a time and even i can name them also. It hapens always. there was a time when 6-7 players from Mumbai used to be in the team. The important point here is select the rigfht guy, whatever region he plays for. I was disappointed not to see Robin Utthappa, Rayudu and abhishek nayar featuring in T20 WC and zimbabwe tour.i am sorry if i hurt your emotions, but Srinath was not a mere average player.

Mr.Amit, You might be little better than me in stats. But it seems you have less cricket sense. Those days T20 was not there. If Srinath, Venky and Joshi had played T20 they would have shit on there pants. You can't get carried away by the bad performance in T20. Joshi, Srinath & Venky played only 50 over and test matches those days.
The point is why people are fuming when just one player from TN (Vijay) was given a chance in T20 based on the performance in IPL. If you think Uthappam should be selected based on IPL prformance. Then Yuvi should have been dropped.
this guy was non starter in a indian batting line up in 2007 - 2008 years ago , then he worked hard and established himself in india last year . Since then he did not perform . same is the case with Yuvraj . So in future , even though the player is talented , selectors should pick players with attitude . Because any day i will pick joginder sharma over yuvraj singh because of the heart joginder shows
Well its nothing wrong to blame on captain of India when they lose, its a habit of people to postmortem the game after they lose it.I think the ex-senior players have also gone pass through it the same tests through which they have gone. But the seniors have also not learned they also give the same comment. And selection committee, i think is the main point where India lacks much more behind like the team Zimbabwe, If the players are to be selected on performance basis i think Robin Uthapa would be much more favoured than Murali Vijay, Sreesanth i think would have been the replacement for Praveen kumar. Why all blame on batting i wanna ask Mr. Ganguly when the bowlers are failing to take wickets early or trying to restrict the batsmen & moreever the fielding is also not to the level. So i think Mr. Ganguly no team has won only on batting but it should be a team effort to win i.e. fielding, bowling and morever batting also. Selection committee has choosed vice captain as Virat Kohli but he is not in the squad at all for t-20, so on wat performance has been he choosen. So sorry selectors make a team that atleast have consistency to win the matches.

might be an intl cricketer but still he & many other senior players quitted to play in the inaugral t-20 world cup which India won with shine & proud, thats why both format are completely different
