Useless Team
by amaraqbaranthony on Mar 25, 2010 08:37 AM  | Hide replies

Punjab is a useless team except Jayawardane and sangakara. It's full of junk players leading from the front Yuvi. It should be disolved.

It is really surprising that Warne, Sachin, Kallis and Kumble are playing extremely well on 2020 format even better than the youngsters half their age!

The youngsters are more intent on partying at night and other nocturnal activities. Match practice and fitness is thrown to the winds.

UV is another Inzi
by amit mishra on Mar 25, 2010 06:28 AM  | Hide replies

Yuvraj is becoming another inzamam in terms of heavy body. If he keeps on going like this, he will overtake Arjuna Ranatunga. Moreover this is the reason he is getting more injuries. I want to see Yuvraj of 2003 world cup.

So I was right, I thought Yuvi had put on weight. It would be such a waste, he putting on weight like that, he is such a champion batsman and fielder! Somebody should warn him about his weight gain.

Ganguly the weakest link @KKR
by rakesh k on Mar 25, 2010 04:17 AM

Keep aside all the past records for a moment and you will end up seeing a player been so vulnerable to play a short pitch ball.Forget about hitting 4's and 6's when his team badly demands, he can't even rotate strikes at will. No openning order bowler will offer him a loose off side delivery and give him time to settle. If tendulkar and kallis has modified their style to suit this bang-bang scheme, when will this guy get gusty ? Hiding behind tiwaris and gayle would not do any good. Leading from the front, cheering, and enjoying is what is least expected of a captain and yes when was the last time ganguly publically admitted that it was I (not we) who failed to fire as a batsman ?

Likely winners of IPL-3
by sumit jain on Mar 25, 2010 03:41 AM  | Hide replies

Banagalore looks the most balanced side of the tournament so far. Youngsters are performing. International players like Kallis and Steyn are in good form. Batting and Bowling looks good. Experience of Dravid, Kumble, Kallis and Boucher helps. Mumbai Indians also have a balanced line up. Delhi is the only team which is playing below potential. Key players have not clicked yet. On paper it is one of the most dangerous team.

The way DD treated McGrath last year was disheartening. A champion bowler is kept in warming the bench. A disgrace to the champion bowler. Lets see if Maharoof can fill McGrath's absence.

Oh man, seriously! When Sehwag is in charge, he can wreak havoc and create the fear of devil in opponents. DD is certainly the most feared team on paper.

What you guys say is true, but I agree with Jain... RCB looks solid right now with Kallis, Steyn and Manish doing well. Just imagine when Eoin Morgan and Cameron White start firing... o boy! I am ready to put a small amount right now on RCB
