Thats why they sent Robin Uthappa & Manish Pandey out of MI after IPL 1 because they were not Marathas and bought Zaheer Khan from RCB.

All cosmopolitan cities work like dat only....I m native of delhi....every day i see an influx of thousands be it..biharis, upwallas, south india, marathis, or foreigners...but it doesnt mean that we shud take a broomstick n get these out.
BCCI is Killing cricket ... Now it is too much of cricket which been served .... what a pity .. after 45/50 days of 2011 world cup in India ... Immediately in next 7 days IPL 4 will start ...with 94 matches ... that is too much ... I think .. cricket will reach to saturation point ... it is too much of cricket for Indians to digest ... BCCI is really killing the cricket ...
gujarat luck is bad we lost in 2007 to jaipur now also its a pity as gujaratis are passionate followers of cricket and ahmedabad stadium is very good does not make sense to include pune as there is already mumbai team from gujarat would be more viable. gujarat is also a very prosperous state too. is is unlucky we missed again.

I agree. Maybe because there is BJP rule in Gujrat. Far fetched, but we never know with our politics.
I too regret Ahemdabad/ Varodra were not named in this list.

there were 15oneday matches held in gujarat in last 5 years compare to 2-3oneday in bengaluru and other big cricket stadium
