Great comeback to form by him and Raina. So all the batsman except J.Kemp are got some good scores in their name now in CSK. Good going but beating RCB and MI on their own den with out MSD is the next challenge for CSK. I hope they will.
Another innovation with bats is that there could be holes drilled into the blade to instigate aerodynamics. They call it “SWISS CHEESE BAT” which is in the news recently
The mongoose bat resembles the baseball bat. Slowly the rules of the game will change and bowlers will stand and throw the ball and voila, we will have baseball!

Well, terrorists would love this as well as holes could be size of a hand grenade and can easily fit into the bat.

Spot on!! Hayden is always been a cricketer in trying new things. Be it the walking down the pitch to hit the fast bowlers aerially, or be it the ability to adapt to Mongoose, Hayden has it all. He really rocks.
some are always mocking dhoni.they are either upper catse guys or who say that Only tendulakr is the greatest and all others including bradman and sobers, are useless.mad parochial chaps

For god sake don't bring political average, useless player dhobi in class of legends of cricket bradman, sobers & Sachin. CSK will do definetely better if politician dhobi is not there

dhoni is as upper caste as one can get (rajput).. his brother is even a BJP member.. dont use caste card to start beggin for reservations now in cricket as well puhleez.

Well, is it you who got 19 wickets in a test match way back in 1950s? You are the first guy before Kumble to take a perfect 10 in a test match. If you are already done and dusted, how did you know about Dhoni?
Mongoose another innovation to the game of cricket. Handles are as long as the blades and the bases are 5 cm thick to instigate more power and speed when the ball leaves the bat.
Hayden proved all that today when launched his onslaught on the Dare Devils. Mongoose dared the Devils today and there is also the news that Symonds is got to go the Mongoose way as well.

It appears Mongoose was hit back in 60s and it failed actually. It was Sussex who used this bat in English county, and Tiger Patudi played for Sussex at that time.

A nice bouncer, directed at the neck, from the goodlength, and Loo you have a real mangoose blow, but alas!!!! where are the great intelligent fast bowlers nowadays???? may be a misdirected yorker, above the knee, will also do the trick

You hit the nail on the head... There are very few batsmen around the world who are good in pulling or hooking. Some names I can think are Sachin, Dravid, Dhoni, Laxman, Ponting, Hayden to name a few. Out of which Sachin and Ponting are the best pullers in the last two decades of the game.

i dont think Dravid, Laxman and sachin are good pullers. Good pullers are Gilly, hayden, Ponting, Grame smith etc
