The Injury Prone League is a success for the businessman Modi and big loss for lakhs of cricket lovers and for the game itself. He manipulated India's international fixtures in cricket thereby denying real stars to come up in the game. Since players want to excel in IPL, they started preserving their energy by becoming cautious in Tests and ODIs. This IPL has cost a few wins for India in Tests and ODIs. Besides, it deprived players like Sachin, Dravid, Harbhajan, Zaheer to better their international individual records which would have been a matter of pride for every Indian.
when bcci itself is thinking of just minting money from ckt, y cant cktrs think of getting better deal out of it. bcci believe in theory "HumKareToChamatkarTumKareSoBalatkar".
whatever jadeja did is not an offence of serius nature. every player tries to get max benefits out of the deal. even in county ckt, players jump from one county to another on gettting lucrative offers. but probably jadeja was too junior to withstand the bcci dictats. had there been ANY ESTABLISHED PLAYER involved in the incident, like yuv, dhoni, bhajji, etc., the matter wud hv been burried under the carpet without any fine even on those players.
one jadeja was a traitor named ajay... this fragile guy is lucky that he is not part of this useless and pathetic side rr owned by our very own pros shilpu
It is really baffling to even think that Ravindra Jadeja is an enormously gifted cricketer. It happens only in India when couple of good performances and that too only against Srilanka can make a player "a regular" in the shorter variants of the game for at least a year. There are many such mediocre players who played for the country.
Jadeja is only a bits and pieces cricketer who has not shown any consistency in all formats of the game.
Treatment meted out to him (out of IPL) is little harsh though, considering his age and track record shown by BCCI. Their (BCCI) decisions are always flaky when it comes to punishing players.
As per article, lessons are meant for youngsters to learn. How about Murali Kartik being shown the door by BCCI even after claiming the player of the match in a test match against Australia? What lesson would youngsters learn from here?

i agree with u to some extent. had there been ANY ESTABLISHED PLAYER involved in the incident, like yuv, dhoni, bhajji, the matter wud hv been 'resolved'.

ICL could have been a huge hit had ZEE TV sold the teams to private institutions rather then making it fully n centrally owned frenchise structure. This was the huge mistake and hard to figure smart businessman like Chandra failed to see this..

what u have stated is 300% correct.. the baby of Kapil Dev is swallowed by BCCI's money loving persons... Check the importance given to indian (local) players ... See in IPL Dhoni captaining Chennai Super Kings... Still we say IPL ...
