"treason for which Bongs are famous?" how did you arrive at that kind of conclusion about a whole community. You have serious issues my friend ;-)

VS Giri, so sad your B'lore got raped by KKR. We understand your frustration, the great people losing to the lowly bongs!

This bong hating joker had gone into a hibernation since ganguly had retired. Now he has got a chance to bad mouth ganguly so he has also made a come back. Come on, put in all your effort, this is the last chance to bad mouth ganguly as his contract with KKR gets over this year, and he wouldnt be playing any significant cricket any more.

thanks mr 'enligtened one'.. kindly shed some light into your prophecy so that we mere mortals can see reason ;)
Teenagers and Youth are wasting their prime time watching IPL . It is affecting their academics and career path . The same time if properly utilized can give them useful knowledge and a ground breaking job . Employees are also not working resulting in loss of crores of rupees . What do we get by making film stars , cricketers and business tycoons "crorodon pathis" from "crorepathis". Wake up ; Let us do our jobs , IPL is for the retired people , shopkeepers , housewives and family members of cricketers / sponsorers / film stars / big companies.

I agree with u avik. Cricket is making people lazy and irresponsible. Few people make their career in cricket while many children waste their time at the cost of their studies. Moreover cricket is just a business befooling millions of poor Indians who dont prefer to do their jobs effectively but have enough time to watch cricket.

face it without Taylor RCB is nothing! the rest of the team stinks!thank God he is in NZ playing for his country! that is the right thing to do and i respect him for that! he chose playing for his country over IPL!!! i hope other players would be like him as well!

Have you just dropped in to the cricket world? McCullam, Bond are other NZ player besides WI, England and Aussie playing for their cuntries currently..

Dude.. It's McCullum not McCullam... Seems like you just dropped into the cricket world! =D just kidding!

HA.. What're you taling about? All the international players are giving first priority to their country, Ross Taylor is not the only one. Gayle, Camroon White, Hussey, Peterson are few other currently paying for their country..
Re: Re: Ross is the lucky charm!
by Gaurav Kapoor on Mar 15, 2010 01:23 PM
i know that! but mashrafee left the test matches against England! i said everyone should be like that! in fact, believe it or not without ross RCB will have a tough time surviving in IPL! other team have players like angelo mathews, bradd hodge bla bla bla! it is shameful that he was auctioned at only 100000 where as Ishant sharma got some 7 to 8 lacs!
Re: Ross is the lucky charm!
by KAUSTAV DASGUPTA on Mar 14, 2010 11:33 PM
balls to you dude~! RCB rocks. i'm a KKR supporter, but RCB 2nd on my list. ah but anyway, guess its meaningless reminding someone of your ignorance level that RCB have Kumble, Dravid, Kallis, Kohli, Uthappa...and i could go on. BTW taylor didn't play alone to get RCB to the finals last year.

by Gaurav Kapoor on Mar 15, 2010 09:14 PM
Stats prove it dude! don't believe me check it for yourself! what happened to your So called saviors! why didn't they perform? without ross's batting believe it or not RCB would have been a long shot for the finals! let alone semis!
Re: Re: Ross is the lucky charm!
by Ayushman Khurrana on Mar 15, 2010 04:43 PM
He was the star player for RCB... He won them most of the matches if you didnot know that! We'll see how many matches RCB survive without Ross Taylor... I second what Gaurav kapoor said! =P IPl is another commercial event where bollywood gets merged with cricket... which i completely HATE.. I mean leave cricket alone DUDE! P.S. Do not tell some one they are ignorant without knowing much....and just for the sake of an argument... It might turn out that they might know even more than you can imagine...
KKR scored 162 in the last match after struggling initially and today managed to chase a measly 136 and that too in the 20th over. I love KKR but they need to be able to score around 200 like the other teams or else against a better team like Delhi they will struggle! But good luck KKR boys, we will keep cheering anyway.

they took it easily in d end yaar.. else it was a comprehensive victory..

agree with you Karthik. They lost just 4 wickets in the 1st match and only 3 wickets in the second match. So I guess they should be ok.
@Satya, you are right. Change of color seems to be working for KKR. Hurrah!

He is extremely good against pace bowling. Whats the point in watching him in a 20-20 ? Does Dravid or Laxman look good in a 20-20? Can you judge how they would do in a Test match just by watching them play a few balls in 20-20. Your knowledge of cricket is very poor.

@ Sameer : completely agree dude,if we go by 20 20 standards, then Yusuf is playing better than sachin...so our Binay will say he is better than sachin !!
