This is not good for Cricket, presently 8 teams are participate, its long. When it becomes 10 its become much long. So Lalit Modi Plz aware its not best for Crcket. Avoid to increase the Franchiese.

IPL will end up with atleast 16 teams in the next 5 years, this is Modi's dream. He want to make it purely like English Premier league which has 20 football teams. BCCI is on a mission to bring more money and popularizing cricket across the world, so its an event going to happen..just wait n see

Dude! there will be a reauction of the players next year. THe players were contracted for only 3 years. However the franchises can keep 3 or 4 players with them if the players are ok with it.

Hi Friend,
If you dont have the prioor knowledge i would like to make some points clear: 1. After the 3rd IPL all the players will be freed of there contract 2. Only 6 players whom city wants to keep can re-negogiate there contract. 3.Rest all players will be again put in a pool and fresh auction of them will take place in July this year. 4.Each team will have a purse of 10 million dollar for the auction.

Amar Babua
The contract of each player was of only 3 years and it will finished after this IPL. For IPL season 4 there will be fresh bidding and all the players will be available for bidding, so don't worry if u r a fan of some other team than these 8 teams.
