m.vijay is much better player than he has been in the past two tournaments. he has a decent avg. in test having played only 5 tests and 7innings.
he deserved his chances also. his was revelation in the recent ipl3, scoring a century and two half centuries and being in the top5 batsmen. he was one of the reasons Csk won the ipl title. when parthiv was its opener csk has less chance and after m.vijay became its opener the team started winning... think about it.

If only performance was the sole criterion then why u tend to forget Robin, Manish, Vinaykumar, Pujara, Rahane?? plz tell ur srikkanth to select his house-helper so that he can try his luck in team india..
for loss of form then what he done since being dropped which justify his selection for being in form again... he is in the team only coz politican dhobi needs someone close to him to work as a liasion between dhobi and betting syndicates and bcci for their share...
Even before the team was announced, every media had flashed the selection of Yuvraj, and also the probable team. Now the Media was leaked with the information well before their formal announcement or media is doing the selction job. By quoting Dhoni's name for persisting with Yuvraj, its puzzeling, why he wants Yuvraj for test matches, he has better utility in ODI's and 20-20.

it was abt the hype created on yuv selection. it was assumed that he vl b in the team. that meant that ppl wont get shocked after announcement of the team.
Vijay Murali failed miserably in last series with South Africa and that too in flat pitches. He was totally totally clueless against South African bowlers. Really don;t understand why he is keep on getting the chances. Also his record in recent series was pathetic. I believe he is getting the chances just because he is from Tamil Nadu. I believe Pujara is far better than Vijay Murali and is in good form. I believe Pujara should have gotten this opportunity.It's unfortunate that Srikanth is keep on selecting Vijay Murali as if he is a legend. Also not sure if Suresh Raina is a good selection. Rather than that Rayudu or Rahane or M Pandey or Rohit Sharma would have been better.

Really don;t understand why Srikanth is acting as a Tamil Nadu selector rather than as national selector. Present Tamil Nadu team is junk and they don't have any quality batsman. Even Pujara left handed is far better than all Tamil Nadu batsman.

Rohit Sharma should have been in playing 11. Murli Vijay is cover up for Sehwag in case he suffers again another breakdown. If you talk of any other youngsters, they would still be bench warmers for another 3 years to come.

Do not question the integrity of the selectors, the reason is very simple...When Kundappa viswanath was the chairman of the selection committee, there were 6 players from karnataka, when Vengsarkar was there there were 6 players from mumbai...Murali viajy is the only TN player in the indian squad, it is due to International exposure, his consistency in the domestic season and his recent performance in IPL and he is more well tempered player than Yuvi, Raina and some of the players in the indian side..Don't be baised Mr. Kumar

all karnataka players are "world class performers"... u "tamil idiot" know some thing abt "quality" of a player....srinath, prasad, kumble, dravid, joshi are not "gully" cricketers frm chennai.....have some cricketing knowledge rather than regional mindset......lots of "gully" crickters frm chennai are forced into team india by 'idiot" srikanth.....shame on u people..

Dont add Joshi to the list of Kumble, Srinath, Prasad and Dravid.. And u forgot a lots of players like Somasundar, Arun kumar, Johnson, Dodda Ganesh, Bharadwaj, Sunil Joshi and so many junks from Karnataka.. Even Prasad was hit all round the park in many matches.. They are worse than the gully cricketers and got selected for team without any performace..

pujara is performing consistently scoring centuries after centuries but always ignored during selection. man of the series of jr wc. scorer of 3 triple centuries within a month. scoring heavily even in eng pitches (n not on dead ind pitches).
but still, all others like rohit, raina, manoj tiwari, saurab tiwari, vijay, get selected ahead of him. even wkt keeper (rubbish keeper) like karthik is taken purely as batsman. but no chance of pujara considerations in the ind team.
y there is so much of grudge against him. i think pujara shud share his tour money with selectors then only he might get a chance.
