ojha n others

Hes done well in his few matches although like him many do not get selected or get looked over. I think it was a few months ago badrinath said something about the selectors not selecting him for any matches even though he has performed well in domestic matches. Then suddenly he gets picked hahahaha. So maybe what we need is not coaches worrying about attitudes but actually selecting players who have the talent and not dropping them.

I have to say that from ipl2 & ipl3 ojha did look a bit heavier but if you look at a guy like harbajan he isnt very muscular or ripped like body builders so I dont think its much of a factor for spin bowlers if they dont maintain their shape that much. Look at guys like shane warne & murli they arent looking like guys such as dale steyn or glenn mcgarth!!

Soccer & Cricket--very similar
by LG on Jun 18, 2010 02:38 PM

To win a matches consistently,

In soccer, a team need good strikers even though it may have the best footballer in it side.

And in cricket, a team good bowlers even though it may have the best batsmen.

Bhajji and Jadeja immly as they r not gud enough.
Sehwag can bowl better than Bhajji
Ojha can replace Bhajji
Ashwin can replace Jaddu
Sick Nehra also needs to be dropped and Young Ishant needs to be given.
Irfan shd be brought back as alrounder
Raina shd bat at No.3

How raina get the chance. It all dependence of the situation. If the situation is good for making good runs and chance of winning is too high and also no chance of getting out, then Dhobi will come in the higher slots because he want to be No. 1 in the cricketing world.

If the position is negative he even don't mind to come out for batting at 11 th slot. Or he will declare the match immediately 9th wicket .

So cunning and oppertunities.

Come out of this reactive mentality--stop coming up with statement based on day-to-day performances of players.

It will also help u in your real life.

But I agree if you say that jadeja should not be in the team based on his performances in T20 WCs.

Good Change in Cricket arena
by LG on Jun 18, 2010 02:19 PM

England, ZIM are improved sides, and SRL has found the right balance.

Ausi as usual are the most committed side.

On the othe hand,

NZ & WI are going down hill.

BD still busy to prove that it was not a wrong Decision to give them test status and that they can beat senior teams consistently

Both are ordinary cricketers and became captain of their national teams by default.

Q1. which one is the biggest fluke in the history of cricket?

Q2. Which one is the most hyped cricketer in the history of cricket?

Attitude of youngsters a worry for Team India
by mallajosyula senior on Jun 18, 2010 02:00 PM

It is wrong to criticize the youngsters. Some one like the coach shall guide them nurtures them and pinpoints their flaws and corrects them. It is very unfortunate to note that no selector spoke to Mr.Ishant Sharama about his mistakes but simply sent him out of the team. Why he was not allowed to go to England and play in county cricket is any body's guess.Goutham Gambheer must have forgotten his failures as a yougster. He is worried about one failure of Rohit Sharma and other youngster. Now he is missing Yuvaraz. May we know for what?

Ojha and Ashwin shd be given a chance in the Pak match. Raina shd bat at No.3. Bhajji and Jadejs shd be offered the bench, otherwise the CT 2009 result would repest.
