by mpsgreat on Jun 17, 2010 07:12 PM

since our players are so busy with IPL nights modeling and advertisements pawar mnohar srinivasan and srikanth should play for india. srikanth can open batting while pawar can be coach.

pathatic state of indian team...
by sunil k on Jun 17, 2010 07:05 PM  | Hide replies

this shows the pathatic talent pool of indian cricket....no ability, no attitude...only 20-20 ambition....entire cricketing world is laughing at india's so called batting talents inability to play against quality pace attack at international events.....BCCI and selection panel still havent learnt their lessons...picking same incapable players who cant even play quality pace attack at international level, and dreaming abt forming a team....utterly nonsense....there is no nucleus or core for this team...sidelining a player of the caliber of "rahul dravid " and promoting players of "yusaf pathan" ability is suicidal for team india....it's been prooved time and again that this team without rahul dravid is an ordinary team at international level....bunch of jokers still living in "fool's paradise"....god save indian cricket..

absolutely agree...these buggers are bought and paid for big industrialists and they dont care to play for india anymore. what is this ojha sitting and watching like a fool while his teammates slog in the sun...must send him back to india immediately and this tiwary seems ot be care more for his looks and attire.

hopeless indian team
by mpsgreat on Jun 17, 2010 07:05 PM

thanks to IPL gold rush these buggers think they are entitled to play for india. all this media hype and see what tiwary is doing even before making debut. we need committed players like sachin dravid back in odi team. even after dropping yuvraj these ipl pedigree kids are behaving irresponsibly. time to kick their butts out of indian team for good.

Another drama
by Raju on Jun 17, 2010 06:52 PM  | Hide replies

This is just another political game. To kick out Ojha and Tiwari, so they can bring in Ashwin, Kartik and M Vijay.
Dhoni, Raina, Srikanth are playing dirty politics to bring their people into the team.
This will backfire badly for them.

You moron, every sportsman knows what his body is capable of. Not everyone can do as many push ups or gym that someone else can.
If he stretches his muscle, he will miss some valuable matches where someone gets the chance.
This is just politics to favor one cricketer over the other.
Everyone knows players from TN have all the backing now. The captain, VC, this Srinivasan fellow, the coach all are from TN.

Dude, You need to think like a Indian first..If this was Australia, they would have been sent home (Remember Symonds who was removed from the team for indiscipline during training)..But people like you will never get out of your regional biases. No wonder you have Telangana, Andhra and Rayalseema fighting for seperation. Note: Iam from Mumbai but I would rather have a team will disciplined and fit players that self centred ones..
Lastly if these players without playing any international test matches have so much reluctance, what is in store if they had played for 15-20 years like Dravid and Tendulkar.

Go n see the history of selectors and the players they backed.. Even the great dada brought DD Gupta, Shukla etc whenever he got chance.. If Vijay is bought by dropping Sehwag, its wrong.. Whats wrong when Viru is injured and triing a new player.. N Ojha was given chance in 3 matches and he dint even play like Vijay or Karthik.. More experienced Mishra was not able to do anything in Zim what Ashwin did.. Dint Srikanth give numerous chances to Jadeja/Pathan?? Dint he bring back Rp, Sreesanth, IPathan, Ishant and everyone and give them a fair go?? Just dont blabber when he gave a rightful chance to a deserving player who was in form.. Performance in international arena is different.. Even greats failed in their initial stages.. There is nothing wrong in giving chance to the own state players.. Have u ever seen Vijays domestic record?? Atleast did u see IPL matches he played?? Again, i m not saying he shd be continued.. For a player with his record, there is nothing wrong in giving a chance in intl matches.. Understand sir..

u r right Satish.these guys are thinkin Shri as regionally biased.Jut remember when Kambli , agarkar and Manjrekar( and Ravi Shastri)hances. When Gundappa was there the national team was filled with only two other state players.

Shri is having a valid point in bringinf players based on ipl and not just out of the hat.Rahulkk dravid failed so many times before he came as fixed member in international arena.only Sachin ,and Ganguly cam e easily.Ganguly that too against a spineless Paki attack.

I agree.. There is no need to push a news because a player was off track for one day.. Even i know hoe much stress and effort a player need to put.. I just dont know what prompts u to drag tamil players into this news.. U are the number one Moron in the country and entire world.. Dragging a needless thing into a needless forum.. Please stop this asap..

Stop making stories, rediff!
by sandeep kumar on Jun 17, 2010 06:50 PM  | Hide replies

These guys are playing for our country, away on tours for months away from families, spending 10 hours in the field. And rediff takes chances to make digs at them. Are they robots to train 24/7?? Ojha is one of the most talented spinners today, and Saurabh tiwary is one of the superstars in the making, and who can rival the likes of dhoni, afridi and hayden for big hitting. Give our guys a chance, and if they fail on the field, then criticize them. They are our idols man

Ya... I agree.. They are just human beings.. Being paid in lakhs wont make u a superhuman.. Human being can relax.. If they are really with poor attitude, the people in power ll take care.. its not for us to worry for a guy who s far above us in talent and has been in national team while we are just spending our time watching them..

Ban them from international cricket until they agree to train well. These people are useless. Indian team will again fail to make it to the super 8's.

Attitude problem is also part of Shewag,Yuvi,Harbhajan,Zaheer,Gangully and others

Why ban only these two?

I think you are interested in only Tamil guys (Vijay,Karthik,Aswin),First you need to change your attitute

Attitude can be changed in few months, but talented can,t be groomed in few months. We can't ban such talented youngsters Ojha and Tiwary for attitude problem.
