Forget about the loss in this tournament. A few players like Raina, Kohli, Rohit, Ashwin have proved that they could be played in Senior national team for all categories of cricket. Another advantage was players like Karthik, Vijay, Oza, Dinda, Yadav and Pankaj have proved that they are fit to play only in IPL and nowhere else. I hope Srikkant will take this message instead of showing partiality towards his own State players ignoring others.
forget the old players and constitute the Indian cricket team with young blood. Look at the present cricket teams like West Indies, Australia, England, New zealand and see now Zimbabwe. This Zimbabue cricket team actually vanished from top class cricket world after retirement of 2/3 top ranking players and remained under dog for couple of years. But see this year they have won against world's powerful (almost full team) team like India twice and entered the tri series final. So no need to bang with old fosils and eliminate them and pump new blood in the team.

Very good observation. Zimbabwe played with totally inexperienced players and india still wants to rely on the veterans and selfish players.

the main reason for the loss are murali vijay, dinesh karthik, yousuf patan. Yousuf patan is a national waste. He will fart watching lethal pace attack. He dont know how to defend. how to play a shot. he only know to wave the air. Once in a blue moon in IPL he will score some runs, that also on fixed matches and some god fathers will pick him to team. We indians are tired and ashamed of spoiling our nations name. Pls change the name to bcci cricket team not indian.

Hey, why you people are simply quarreling over some cricketers? Those guys are getting lot of money even if they loss a match. So friends, please dont waste your time for these things.

I fully agree with your opinion and like to see Goutam gambhir as captain. Sehwag is really a match winner but his abilities as captain is doubtful. But Dhoni neither a good captain nor a match winner. He has blocked a speciallist position of wicket keeping (where his performance is miserable). He must be dropped from the team and a good wicket keeper with moderate batting ability may be selected.
there is not much passion among the youngsters to perform for india with IPL around they know that they have enough money so why to play for country's pride Murali vijay,Ashwin,Pankaj singh nd many more have proved that they r not of INTL CLASS thay r Ranji level players Raina is the most stupid captain Dinesh karthik is gone his INtl career is almost over now sachin,sourav,dravid,kumble,laxman were true greats YUVI,DHONI,GAMBHIR r not leading by example to show the youngsters that how to play with passon for ur country Only sehwag is a class player in the current bucnh of players

why the under 19 team members are bought to the international cricket. They still have much to learn. But i am feeling bad of myself as we are second in place of population and cannot find a single batsman who have stamina to play with zimbabew. All the batsmen in this team played like test cricket.
