I am not supporting Murali Vijay but he deserved that chance based purely on his Domestic performance since he was good in Domestic. DK and Yusf Pathan also Same. All 3 failed and They will not get a repeat chances
Only 2 Player out of 11 Players in a Playing eleven and just 3 Player from 15 member squad any time not regional
What are your replacement for them except Senior Players?

i m not saying that u r supporting vijay sure u cant replace sachin,dravid,laxman with these players its sad but fact is fact nd fact is that except rohit sharma there is no other player who looks of INTL class

But simply blaming the chief Selector is not a big deal. If any other Selector would have had 4 to 5 Players from his State even if he is from Orrisa

robin uthappa for yousuf patan, ambatti raydu or parthiv patel for dinesh karthik any bowler is a better replacement for vijay...lolz...

Sorry to say, I feel pity of your cricket Knowledge.
Robin Uthappa is injured and he is just done his operation in London and he is out of action for 3 Months
A Rayadu joined ICL and when returning to BCCI it's agreed that all ICL returnees have to serve 12 months in Domestic before considering for National Selection
P Patel is not even good enough to be second Wicket Keeper in this Squad. He is scored few good runs in FC matches but not in List A matches. Not the difference
M Vijay deserved his chances based on his Domestic performance and he is Failed just like other few new comers. He just played only 4 ODI's and he will not be picked for the next tour

If you are backing Vijay why don't you support Abhinav Mukund or Anirudh Srikkant? They also played well in domestic tourneys for Tamilnadu.But Srikant is ignoring performance of players from other States that is the issue.

Vijay is a opener and he was good enough to handle the IPL pressure. .Thats the reason he was given the chance in t20 and ODI.. Whats wrong in it.. U cant say he ll fail before playing the match..

My pick up for Asia Cup is: Sachin Sehwag Gambhir Rohit Raina Dhoni Irfan Agarkar Ojha Khan P Kumar/Sidharth Trivedi Agarkar and Irfan are as good in bowling as RP, Nehra, Ishant are and much better in fielding and down order batting. All current bowlers are giving runs at nearly 6 RPO then what's bad if they play Agarkar & Irfan who would provide them better option in fielding & batting? Remember Agarkar's records of taking 288 wickets in just 180 soemthing matches. no one is close to his strike rate in current bowlers but everyone when it comes to eco rate!

Sree should not be in the team for his attitude. Nayar has been enough opportunity but others mentioned should get a recall or selection.

Sree having a ODI E Rate of over 6 and you want him in the team????? That's really useless, he just a test level Bowler can't get any more chances in ODI
A Nayar failed in his IPL-3 Comeback and he had a Injury prone and worst Domestic season
M Tiwary having attitude problem and not even good enough for Indian A team
Pujara, M Pandey and S Dhawan are playing in Indian A team and if they Play well They will soon come to Indian Team. (Note: S Dhawan and A Rahane scored centuries Y'day)
I never give another chance to I Pathan. Wat his last 5 ODI performance?

Senthil, irfan is better option for no-7 batsman and a 5th bowler! he is a good fielder compare to Jadeja, Nehra, Ishant Sreesanth and RP! Can be used as a pinch hitter anytime! Yes, Sreesanth is just..no no! He's even a test level bowler! He is a burden on any team.

again lots of "failed" and "crap" players in ur team....most of these guys dont have proper footwork to play against quality pace attack of PAK and SL.....failed miserably in recent tournaments.....have some cricketing commonsense to include "Rahul dravid " in ur team....only he has the ability to score against such attack....all these young players are failed to deliver in international tournies repeatedly....no point sidelining dravid any more till the world cup....the best middle order player for team india in any format of the game....

You got in to the team and played well at No.3 and cement your place but for this full series you didn't promote yourself anytime and you never inspired the team.
