Shameless PM and his government.....
by Vikram Shenoy on Aug 01, 2010 08:20 PM  | Hide replies

One does not understand why India accepted to host CWG when it couldnt financially and infrastructurally afford to organize. Unfortunately, the government is led by a person who doesnt know what is shame.. When the event is about to begin, the PM says all is well, while the organizing committee is going places with begging bowl. God save Indians from these rotten characters

its not this... The funds were more than sufficient, but the kangress greed for money has made it non-sufficient. you can give them 3424242343244243242 crores and they will still ask for more.

Its NOT the pride of our country. CWG only reminds the slavery/colonial rule of British. We should be ashamed of this CWG. We should have not accepted to host this CWG. True Patriotic Indan will never accept this CWG. True Patriotic Indian will proudly contribute for hosting Asian Games or SouthEast Asian Games or Olympic Games. True patriotic Indian should NLT participate in the CWG

BCCI and Commonwealth Games
by S Shrikanth on Aug 01, 2010 12:47 PM  | Hide replies

Why should BCCI should donate 100 Cr to CWG committee. CWG costs have already shot over 35,000 crore and Delhi is in dire straits due to garbage all around due to constructions. And Delhi Govt CWG officials have made thousands of crores out of the prparations. CVC reports have exposed the mass scale irregularities and the whole games are under scanner. The sports minister has admitted that the Govt has spent 17 times more than the budgeted cost. Whose money Ms Dixit is spending ????? Overall CWG may be better called as CORRUPTION WELFARE GAME.

On other hand BCCI is equally corrupt company. It is run by corporates and consumer MNCs to promote and sell their low quality, overpriced junk consumer products to Indians through their bonded agents ie so called cricketers like Tendulkar, Yuvraj, Dhoni etc.

BCCI's sole is to dance to the tunes of the consumer companies who are reaping rich harvest by selling junk products. And these companies have no interest in Sports.

Better to utilise these Rs. 100 crore in developing cricket rather than going into the hands of Suresh Kalmadi and Co.

I agree that BCCI may not be developing cricket like in Australia and SA. But they are anyday better than other Indian Sports Associations who are corrupt to the core.
