I agree that BCCI may not be developing cricket like in Australia and SA. But they are anyday better than other Indian Sports Associations who are corrupt to the core.
Is the money needed to hoist the 60 crores helium balloon in the sky? What a waste of resources! In fact when the tax-payer's money is given to autonomous bodies, very strict checks and counter checks are necessary to stop corruption which is the intention of most of the politicians involved in taking part in such events!
everything was well planned. if the project wasnt executed in time, it meant doing the same work in a hurry - that would mean jacking up the price. the scale of the cost over-run is tremendous. amazing how the government can get away with such scams.

It is the tax payer's money which is being wasted and swindled! Shame on the corrupt politicians and babus who do this anti national work!

Absolutely right. There is no doubt in my mind about that. He might have different ways of tackling the issues but they are effective and result-oriented.
