mr panchal do you know about the fiasco of world cup 2007 match against bangladesh he was doing bharatnatyam against bangladesh bowlers. dont forget about final of world cup 2003 he was out at merely 4 runs so mr panchal whenever he is there upto next edition of world cup in india also our team is bound to lose because sachin tendulkar only plays for individual records.

With due respect, great records.. and this is what he plays for.. I can still recall the India Pak match when Rahul declared so that India has a chance to win the test...No doubt, only Rahul and Sachin will know the truth.. whether the declaration was discussed...however,Sachin's reaction (being a senior member) was like a school boy who has been penalised a mark...his face was swollen for a couple of days..and he had even told the media something which was not in the interest of the team...this reflects that he is more interested in his personal achievements than the team...
Every team announces playing 11 and keeps 5 in reserves. The players in the reserves are of good quality but unable to play either the particular test or participate in any domestic matches. Hence I have a sugggestion. Make it compulsory to replace 5 players for the second innings. I am sure the game will become more interesting.
Re: A NOVEL IDEA FOR ENLIVENING TEST MATCHES
by raj sharma on Jul 30, 2010 01:50 PM
godd idea i think replacement should be like football replacement i fthe last day becomes boring like the current match , it should be converted to 50-50 match
Very poor advertisement for Test Cricket. ICC should intevene and ban these cricket centres. Another alternative is make all test matches 100 over affair.
During last match, somebody, on this Board itself had given expert comments " Time to retire Sachin ". In current innings, Sachin has silently hammered that somebody, and so many such others, with his bat. Sadly, we have n number of mindless people who hv nothing but to criticise. They criticise becoze they don't hv mind to think and appreciate persons like Sachin who, at 37, is challeging far youngers, with his performance, approach to the game, commitment and, above all, his towering, unblemished personality.

Well said arvind...I was just wondering where are all those Sachin bangers who flooded this forum during the last test with all nonsense comments...A player at this age with 5 centuries in last 6 tests and missed the only one by a whisker...and people still keep on blaming him for have done nothing for the country!!! Someone find me a replacement worth of even 25 percent of him and I will shave my head...I have been really surprised with the venom spitted by some mindless people in this forum last week...all senseless lazy vermins!!

Agreed Sir! Sachin has been a great sportsman with an exemplary record both on and off the fields. There is no point getting concerned about the criticism he faces or even the statistics. Fact is statistics is totally unreliable as it cannot present the actual sitaution on the field. take for instatnce Sachin's current Double hundred. when he came to the crease, the score was 169-2 and within 4 runs even dravid was back in the pavillion. We had lost the first test match and facing a huge SL total of 643 runs, and the pressure on Sachin and Laxman must have been enormous. under pressure even the very best flounder , irrespective of the stste of the pitch! that Schin anchored the innings and savaed the test match for us, can never come out from the statitics! It is also imporatnt to note, cricket is a team ame and witout Laxman and Raina supporting him, even Sachin would have failed! unfortunately, in his golden years, when azhar and the likes were leading India, the team as such was poor and not as talented as the current one. Sachin may have scored centuries when we lost or drawn matches, which is due to team failure rather than because of him. Classic case of us loosing to Pak in Chennai, still is vivid in my memory. That, Sachin got out with only 15-16 runs needed for victory with 4 wickets in hand ( he was struggling with a bad back) and the rest of the 4 guys could not score the 15 odd runs.....I can recollect many such instances.... Statistics never can highlight this..
