Murali very well knew that SSC Colombo & also the P SARA Colombo was not the pitch where in he would have survived against the mighty INDIAN batting inline up thats why he retired at GALLE. The curator at GALLE said that MURALI could spin the ball on a glass turf { Then why he retired before the end of series, was a good decision by MURALI to retire on a HIGH, and I say MURALI will suck in ODI and T20,s take my word for this. SO you need to get your basics rights SRT is still the master who is and will fight it out on any turf and conditions and SRT will be INVINCIBLE....SALUTE THE MASTER....

During creation, God got tired and he retired to his room. Some a.s.s.h.o.l.e came to the creation table and created you. That is why you are like this.

God will not retire anymore.. cos the world does not need another one like you!

And also to help God, your m.o.m should keep her l.e.g.s c.l.o.s.e.d like a slip fielder in cricket... In cricket, the ball will get through between the legs and the team is screwed... in her case........ :-p

Sachin the Run Machine
by surya prakash on Jul 30, 2010 10:52 PM

Sachin is having an impecable year with 5 centuries and still going strong. He has scored 772 runs till now in the 5 tests played this year so far. What more does he need to prove that he is still the best around irrespective of his age.
India still plays another 8 tests this year and has a pelnty of options to score more

Even Martin Crowe never won matches for Newzealand but what he did was reduce the majestic losses, prevent follow ons etc. He was still a great batsman playing for a weak team.
If Sachin had retired before this match, Yuvraj or someone else would have come in and before scoring 10 or 20 runs...mendis/Randiv would have sent them back. India would have followed on and may have lost the test.
Though I am not a Sachin fan but I have to agree that if not for him and Raina India may be trailing 0-2 now.

Time afetr time sachin has proved with age he is only getting better. He has raised the bar even at such a late stage in his carrer there should be no debate about his greatness as his numbers speak for him.If only he had fello team mates supporting him at the wickets he would have won every silverware the only thing sachin wants to win is the world cup then i guess he will call it quits. The day he retires the cricketing world and specially india will have lost its gem.Hope u continues to play some part in indian cricket once he retires. So proud of the bombay boy

by pranay gupta on Jul 30, 2010 09:32 PM

despite he played d best knock of d match & also motivate raina & other players to stayed on at crease, sachin doesn't take credit for himself. He is such a genious but than even he didn't even mentioned about his own performance, greatness in his speech. He always gives full credit to others but didn't take a slice of it. HATS OFF MAN....u r really greatest of all time sportsman not only batsman
