15000 runs in Tests and 100 tons is becoming a reality
by Maihoon Don on Jul 28, 2010 06:47 PM  | Hide replies

In 2008, i thought Sachin will never make these figures..now it looks possible..it will be a great achievement for him to get 15000 Test runs and 100 international centuries(at least 50 in Tests)....then he can think of gracefully retiring after doing great service to India for 20 plus years.

the problem with your statement Maihoon don is " I thought" ...you are not capable of doing such productive activity.

Yes for sure, he would surely retire after 2011 world cup . By that time he would have completed 50 centrues each in tests and as well as one day internationals. He culd have completed this year itself had if he had been in zimbawe ODI.

you are expecting him to hit 150 runs in every match for india to win...you answered your question yourself...without sachin india is nothing...and can never win the world cup.

He is GOD OF CRICKET.....
If he was born in any other country, they would have made him hero...like aussie do for bradman and West Indies for Sobbers ..But India and Indians are full of dirty politicians and politics....
Sachin should be honoured by BHARAT RATNA...... This crown was given to dick and Harry of Nehru dynasty... It should be honoured to Sachin too to have his own glory.

Raina
by LG on Jul 28, 2010 06:38 PM

well played on debut. He supported Sachin very well, which allowed Sachin to open up and play his natural game.

if Raina overcome his weakness against short pitch delivery, he might become a good test match player. Let us hope he does that.

Sachin's batting as long as he is on the crease. If he score 200 or 300 that would be a bonus.

sehwag is good at throwing wicket
by ramamurthy on Jul 28, 2010 06:37 PM

sehwag is a good player without brain and commonsense. he always threw wicket whenever he had good chance to score. then say ' i dont play for records'. do you think sachin, ponting, sangakkara do the same??
