Dravid cannot keep wickets. He plays at important number 3 position same as Sangakara. Sangakara gave up wicket keeping in test because you cannot be expected to keep wickets for 1-2 days and then make 100s.

To all Morons on board
by kongo rudy on Jul 22, 2010 05:03 PM  | Hide replies

Get the reality first. The better team always wins (except for those unusual circumstances).
Today Sri Lanka won as it was better than India. Give some credit to the way Lankans have played rather than criticizing Indian team. The best teams have failed against Lankans in Sri Lanka. India is just another team.
It is obvious that the Indian bowling was worse than hopeless. Why blame only a few individuals in the team for a game that needs to be won on team performance?

You cant expect to win a test match, with ishant, mithun and ojha and bhajji failing. dont let zaheer, sreesanth to get into the team back, without atleast 3 first class matches or 4 ODIS.

Time for so called GOD to retire!
by sandeep kumar on Jul 22, 2010 05:03 PM  | Hide replies

No doubt he ahs been a fine batsmen, but in 20 years the only notable innings in the 4th innings has been the england one 2008. What use are these runs piled on good batting conditions on the first and second day? When team India needs most we need someone who is worshipped to score big hundreds the way gavaskar or waugh or lara did, who played countless matchsavers and matchwinners. At the monet he might score another 5000 runs, but am damn sure they are gonna be in less challenging conditions, but the records will be set and his sponsors will be happy. WHo cares about India anyway?

Sandeep you are one the few bunch of morons who dont like Sachin. You infact are jealous of Sachin's acheivements and wants Sachin to retire. Grow up. Everyone cares about India. Maybe you lesser than anyone else since you want our God to retire. Dhoni is in friend with Ashish Nehra(He was invited also at his wedding). How disastrous he was in Asia cup and World Cup but still he is in team. He is seen in games more often than Irfan Pathan. Dhoni & Srikanth stop playing regionalism and favoritism and take the deserving cricketers....Irfan is left out, Suresh Raina is left out. What a shame you both (Dhoni & Srikanth) has brought to this game.

i have seen u posting the same content sincle long time on the board.
dear sandeep, sachin doesnot need your certificate to retire. sachin has been performing consistenly since 2 decades, he still has the same commitment and passion for the game he loves the most. who scored 85 runs in the second innings. Sachin is not so called GOD, HE REMAINS THE GOD OF CRICKET FOR EVER EVEN AFTER HIS RETIREMENT. dont talk rubbish sandeep, get your head clean with a psychiatrist

whenver team india lose we blame sachin,

because we heavily depended on individuals.

he played more than 20 years for our country.

he scored 47 centuries in test and 46 in odi

anybody will touch his record?

absolutely not !

what else u r expecting frm
sachin?

he play better than everyone in team.

his last desire is to win the world cup for us.

he is not playing for records, he is playing for entire nation.

be proud guys !

well said, vignesh. Sachin enjoys his game, record comes on his way. show me a single player dominating both form games, including t-20. no one has the style of sachin, shot selection and the way he carry forward himself on and off the feild is amazing. he has been praised and approved by all cricket legends including bradmam, he is the best. sachin has played top class bowlers in the world, demolished wasim akram, shoib akthar, shae warne and mcgrath. I dont think even bradman has played variety of difficult bowlers. SACHIN IS THE GOD OF CRICKET. UNDISPUTED KING OF CRICKET, EVEN BRADMAN WAS NOT GOOD ENOUGH TO SACHIN EXCEPT HIS 99% AVARAGE. THIS IS A FACT. So we dont need morans like sandeep comments on the board, just ignore sandeep

NO, THIS IS WHAT STUPID CRICKET LOVERS OF DHOBI BELIEVE that only because of DHOBI'S indiviual centuries, stumping all 10 wickets india has won, not because of sachin, dravid, kumble or laxman

Rayudu is a IPL keeper.. Dravid himself will keep far better than him..

U can add Saha in the list if u want.. If u think him as a Dhoni influence, drop him...

Congrats Murli !!!
by kalpak chandra on Jul 22, 2010 04:50 PM

Congrats Murli for such a extraordinary performance but the credit for ur record should also be given the generous indians who gave as much wickets as u wanted for completing ur record . Indians are very generous people and they always think of giving maybe their wicket or run they give it whole heartedly.
