by syed Ghori on Jul 20, 2010 05:53 PM  | Hide replies

Murlidharan is taking right decision by retiring from test cricket after making a record that nobdy will reach. This is the way to play and make place for youngerters. When our budda players sachin, rahuldravid will retire. They have hav played enough crikcet and it is time they giv chance to young players. How long u will carry on for greed of money. This is not sporstmanship.greed of money

Nobody wants to be No.2, Murali's record is safe so he is retiring. Sachin is not retiring since Ponting is running behind his record like anything. He will retire the day Ponting will retire.

I agree with Syed. In India, chaps dont retire ... they are either kicked out or they die.
Look at Karunanidhi, Advani and the looooooooooong list of seniles.

After the recent splurge in the endorsement fees cricketers are getting, Sachin is cleverly picking and choosing which matches to play...ensuring his presence in the cricket environment and make sure he makes more and more money than the runs he is scoring... very cunning fellow...

Dhruva its easy to make comments against a great player who played for our country for more than 15 years.

No body can score runs in every match..Whenever he fails you guys start the blame game.. and when he scores you guys says its for recors...

Think what you have achieved in your life.and what is your contribution to the country..I guess you are fit for nothing

It's only a coincidence...when Sachin plays India does not win.. remember he has scored maximum of his runs against the best bowling attacks...

When India goes deep into trouble or in direstraights Sachin always gives a big hand .He never try to lift India out of woods.
as long as Maratha warriors rule BCCI India can never win any major tournament.Punjabis rule Hockey India can fight for 11th place in World cup.In Soccer energyless Chatterjee,Banerjee, ghaterjee, Mukherjee's rule India always be in 234th place.Kabaddi hamesha India sadaa khushi rahega.Mera Bharat Mahaan.

Talents apart.. Kapils contribution was great.. remember he was able to knock 4 6s when keeping company with last batsman to avoid follow on.. He is not great bat.. he is the first score 180 in one day international.. people forget good things..

As long as we glorify individuals we can never come in cricket.. remember in 1983 we never boasted of heroes; but due to combined strength we won.. never an individual can win.. only team performance matters
