Dear Rediff Message Board, As an ardent reader of your message, whenever i find any headline about Srilanka, my expectations goes to the pathetic tamil people suffering in IDP camps in various towns of Srilanka... no water, no proper ventillation, no school for children, no food.. it is utter shame that the Indian Govt. is encouraging the Indian team to play cricket with srilanka.
thousands of innocent tamils were brutally murdered, thousands of women raped, children have become orphans, the brutality of srilanka still continues in Indian ocean killing innocent fisherman..
please also float messages about the welfare of srilankan tamils.

i am an Indian and i support Srilanka in this. wherever Tamils go, they have the tendency to create problems like Muslims..
if tamils are suffering in Lanka, it is mainly because of tamils supported all the tamil terrorists..
lankans are Buddhists and relatively very peaceful people unlike tamilians.

In cricket it takes just one ball-good or bad to take a wicket. Do not bother about centuries. Just enjoy their play if you love cricket as an art.
Otherwise do not waste time, just look at stats of players, once in a month, to praise or criticize cricketers.

Rahul was unlucky to get run out. Till that time he was batting with control and with out any problem. The main failure so far is our pampered spinners.I feel even Ashwin would have bowled better than Harbajan. Ojha is useless for test cricket.

Good, I will tell him. You such a nice person, you definitely deserve all the money of greedy fellow 'Sachin'.
Definitely the selectors dont have the guts to drop him, and pawar will never either. I hope he realises that his time is up, and now he can make runs only on pitches like nagpur,gwalior,rajkot etc, where the pitches and ground size are as per his liking. But on lankan turners, we need some youngster with a good technique and who is hungry for success. Tendulkars intention is now to set some unreacheable no of 100s and runs scored, which are of course not going to win any matches for India. Its sad to see youngsters like pujara,badri,vijay etc forever waiting for their chances.

Before you comment like this you should have checked the history of Sachin Tendulkar against Srilanka...with just one inning failure you can't ask him retire.half knowledge is always dangerous man...
Please give credit where it is due.a spell of 14overs for 79runs on day 0ne with a spell 14 overs with 3 wickets for 66 runs doesn't make it a good spell. Mithun took 4 for 60 odd 9incl a dropped catch by Dravid). I think Mithun had an excellent outing, yet your reporter does not give where credit is due!!!
