Cricket is a dull sport watched only by foolish people. They cannot match even 1% to football which is exciting and watched by the world. India should immediately ban cricket and start playing football. In india hardly people bother about cricket and the administrator loot everything at the cost of these foolish spectator. BAN CRICKET FOR GOOD OF INDIA
rediff's popularity is decreasing day b y day and reason is giving reporting facility in blogger's hand. i think reporting message right should not be given to blogger but it should be kept with rediff only.
Modi's biggest fault was that he was hogging all the limelight. had he shared this, nothing would have happend to him. Modi copied something and created a GIANT out of it. Though he claims to have the idea from 1996. Now modi should get into football and make another successful brand. Other wise indian sports will be ruled by likes of GILL -Hockey and Suresh Kalmadi Olympics. Results count and which modi has delivered.

modi is another corrupt guy- he would never have got into any other sport than cricket. Kapil dev should be given all the credit for introducing private 20-20 with ICL.
To be fair, I do not understand the reasoning behind the High Court's order. The basic principle of administrative law, that is "one person shall not be a judge in his own cause" stands to be violated here. If BCCI has sufficient evidence, let it hand over to a neutral committee or person, who can adjudge the issue and evidence offered solely on merits. In the present matter, it is surely too much to expect that Modi shall receive a fair hearing from the very body that charge sheets him. If found guilty, by all means take the stipulated action against him. But the procedure for that needs to be fair which is absent in the present instance. The Bombay High Court has unfortunately showed itself akin to Pilate's washing of hands which can only send a wrong signal to many administrative bodies in the country.

Every individual entity/authority has its own rules and regulations. If such rules are breached, then it is the role of that entity to take action against the guilty party. That is the way natural law operates. Next you will say that since the cricketers work for BCCI, therefore they cannot be disciplined by them due to transgressions.
In India, one does not survive being honest and towing the law of the land, be it an individual( including politicians) or a corporate body. Modi's party has been ruined by a group with whom he did not share the fortune of IPL.
IPL in my view, is crass in every way, but surely Modi really nurtured it to great heights. You have to give the devil its due
