For dropping Ajantha Mendis because of his failure in India. Anyway it is good for India that he is not playing first test, unless Mendis is included for first test also in the last minute. Then it is lose lose for India in firt test.
There is no doubt that Dhoni is one of the best ODI batsman in the world right now and is a reliable batsman & keeper in Test Cricket. What has been disappointing is his below par performances with the bat in the T20 format which everyone thought was a tailor made format for him. It is surprising to see an attacking batsman of his calibre have a poor strike rate of 107 in the T20 format.

Accident will never happen daily. only once in a while. This accident is not even recording. When the real test starts Yivi will make "O" and "9" in the first test.
It is good Yuvi came to excel in this innings,but what about his own body weight,and other heavy weights who are still stumbling on the batting track?What about selectors' vision of opening batting strength?Are the opening bats sound enough to let middleorder ones play their natural game?

It's unfortunate that selection committee tried to replace Yuvi with Vijay Murali. Everyone knows that Yuvi is far better than Vijay. But Srikanth is having other ideas. He wants his tamil nadu player to be in the team at any cost. Now it is good that Yuvi scored a century. Otherwsie Srikanth would have asked Dhoni to go for Vijay. Also I believe Vijay can be replaced with Pujara. Vijay can play for Tamil Nadu for another 4 to 5 seasons before considering him. He is scared of fast bowlers. Also he is very weak against quality spinners.

That's what I am telling Sunder. Don't use tamil logic here so that Vijay can get selected for first test.Everyone knows half legged Laxman is far better than Murali Vijay.

DHONI is waste body in terms of captaincy. He had well generated fantastic team by Saurav Ganguly..thats why INDIA won the T20 world cup during his captaincy. Because of SACHIN's influence he become the captain. DHONI don't have any brain to lead the INDIAN cricket team. He is good captain when the players (generated by others) are in good form. Otherwise he is big big zero. I don't understand why media is prising or highlighting DHONI like this..because they are the fools..dont have brain

mr sunder team india under the same dhoni, was kicked out in 2 20-20 wc, champions trophy, beaten badly by a bteam of aus( 4-2). dhoni is a fluke, just like sania mirza in tennis.

I dont understand the "Players generated by others" concept.. If it is so, Srikanth and Azharuddin are the best ever captains in Indian cricket history.. Srikanth was the captain when Sachin made his debut and Azhar was even better as he gave debus to Dada, Dravid and VVS..
No other cricketer is succesful as good as these four..
