Good to know Haryana is doing so good. But let us not say we come from Haryana. Let us say we are India. Let us not say we are Hindu, Muslim, Baniya, Punjabi, Sikh, Marathi speaking, Rajasthani. I agree , i produced stats just to make him understand that its not only tamil nadu which contributes. My idea was not to spread regionalism but just to make him realize that every bit counts

IPL : It is the 2nd biggest league avg attendance is 58,400 (NFL is the biggest avg attendance 60,000 and Bundeslega Football is 3rd avg attendance is 52,600) in terms of highest seat occupancy in stadium through out the tournament. IPL brand value is $4.3 bil ( a 4 years baby) where as EPL has $12bil, and NFL as $9.2bil, Spanish lega is $8.6 bil. And, keeping in mind that IPL plays during weekdays and weekends where as all other leagues irrespective of soccer, NFL,AFL or any other leagues play only on Fri, Sat, & Sun.

FYI , wiwkipedia, anyone can post any infirmation there and hence the credibility of information is always doubtfull. only naive indians follow so called game cricket. its laughable to say that cricket is popular next to cricket and its a understatement.
