Dear Murli,
Why are you quiting now? First complete 800 wickets in test and then you can retire. It is just one series away. Don't hang-up yout boots till then.

Compare
by kiran on Jul 06, 2010 07:44 PM  | Hide replies

Why you guys compare with Sachin? even if he is 40 yrs wht matters is performance, when he is performing god sake leave him alone. When he is not performing he knows when he should retire.

Muralis form is pathetic and last time he hardly got wkts against India. this time he definitely cant get Dravid Sachin Lakshaman ehwag out easily!!

Murali is also legend, but dont compare!

Dear Hemant I don't know why you and all like you against tendulkar. Still he is no 1 in Indian Test side. no. 1 in ODI side
Don't believe check last 20 match record.
One important point. Murlidharan is just 8 wicket short of 800, he should retire after crossing land mark for all his fans.
Thanks

Hemant,
Yes, Sachin played for money but no one ever played for India also. Because, it is BCCI which is a private body. He played for BCCI which is a professional body. Have you ever heard of football where players are bought for exorbitant amount of money?

BUT WHY?
Can you ask our PM,Mr Manmohan please retire or to our FM,Pranab Mukherjee?
Can you ask our legend Amithav Bachhan, Mr Bachhan you are nearig to 70 please take retirement
Like this can you ask LATA MANGESKAR not to sing any more?
Smilarly in all other profesions like writers, doctors, engineers, teachers, buisness man etc are performing though are aging. Nobody ask them to take retirement. No body questioning why they are earning though they are older fellows.
Then why SACHIN will take retirement when he is performing?
Why people are bothering for SACHIN'S income?
As long he likes he must continue.
ALL STUPID FELLOWS SHOULD KEEP QUITE.

JAKE
Re: Muralidharan-Bowler Bradman.
by JAKE on Jul 06, 2010 07:41 PM
It a sad day for the game of cricket for Muralitharan was one of his kind and one of the truly greats of all times. No one can take the fact from him that he is the highest wicket taker in Test Cricket.

Without a shadow of doubt he will go down as one of the most colorful and jovial players. Though born with a deformed wrist, he did everything with the ball and made it dance to his tune. Along with Warnie and Kumble he enriched the game the past decade. And now with him gone, the three spin greats are all off from Test Cricket. My salutations to this genial and likable man for giving us acres of pleasure and fun the past 20 years.

no one is perfect. that does not mean imperfect person and imperfect actions
should get the records and credits like perfect person.
At least u declare him as having record holder as a imperfect bowler, unless u r insane.

You dont have any moral right to call him chucker. The way Australians play and win matches by sledging and unnecessarily provoking other players is it all in the right spirit of the game.No one is perfect.First correct yourself.
After cleared by ICC and biometrics if you call him chucker I think you got some problem in your mind. You are out of the world.

dont worry..tendulkar wants to give one last shot at a world cup in 2011..whether he wins for the country or not, he will surely hang his boots from ODI..am sure he has the following last wishes before he retires:

1. a test series win in both south africa and aus
2. a world cup ODI win in 2011.

lets all true indian fans pray that he contributes heavily to help india lift the cup next year..
