We Indians supported the chucking of Murali in the ICC. Now this will haunt us forever. Because Murali's chucking will not kill anyone cuz he is a slow bowler. Now Aussies are supporting Tait and Pakis support Shoaib, both of whom chuck close to 100 mph! At this speed of chucking someone will get killed someday. Having supported Murali, we have lost the moral right to protest against other chuckers.

Tait doesn't chuck. There's nothing illegal about his action. Same with Malinga. The rule only says the elbow shouldn't bend, and it doesn't. Both Tait and Malinga have low slinging actions, but the action is clean. Learn something about the rules before shooting your mouth off.

tait has got "clean " action..he bends his lower body so that his bowling arm never bends....maling has got "flat arm" action....when u watch his action "side ways" it clearly shows he is "throwing" wtih his wrist...flick of the wrist is a kind of "throwing", without bending ur bowling arm....try this with sone in an open field, u realise that malinga's action isnt clean....the best "round arm" action bowler was "wakaar yunis"...classic action with devastating inswinging yorkers..

@Sunil K.. Flick of the wrist is a kind of throwing..then all leg spinners are chuckers..

wrist spinners are not throwers....and better know ....U CANT BOWL A LEGSPIN WITH THROWING ACTION....try it with a ball and know it...rotating the wrist is different frm "flicking" the wrist

what about Malinga...man everyone says he has a beautiful round arm action...all he does is throw and in a deadly manner at 100 miles...Lankans with these kind of bowlers will be unbeatable at home
Re: Murali is great cricketer than sachin!

In what way? Sachin may be accused of being selfish, but no one can accuse him of being a chucker!
Murali is a legendary off spinner no doubts about that .. but one has to understand that there is no way an off spinner can bowl a doosra. This can be done only thru a bent elbow. Remmember it was Murali who introduced doosra. In those days genuine off spinners (like Prasanna) only had floaters .. never something like doosra. I have played enough cricket in my life and I can tell you for sure to bowl doosra it is simply impossible without chucking. Having said that Murali is a great bowler no doubts about that

Prasanna was a marvel lour bowler who would have taken stacks of wickets had he played today.

I agree he is simply too good ... gone are the days when offspinners lure the batsman forward have them stumped or bowl them between pad and bat

He was a magician who bowled with guile and fooled the batsmen. Players like Sobers, Clive Lloyd. Viv Richards, Ian Chappell, Barry Richards, Graeme Pollock, and other greats hailed as the best spinner they played against. He was the Shane Warne of his time, a magician with the ball.
Karnataka had great players then, the little genius G R Viswnath, magical Chandrasekhar, slick Syed Kirmani, all top quality players.

Murali is a great chucker. His arm is always bent..... He has converted chucking into an art form. Now no one can say anything against chuckers. Asians supported Murali, so Aussies are supporting Tait, and Pakis are supporting Shoaib Akhtar.

Shoaib Akhtar is a chucker out and out, but not Murali for he does have a genuine bent wrist.

Believe you guys have serious misunderstanding in ur mind. If he chucks then how he could get through ve report in Austrailian cricket academy.. U should understand, Australia had lots of ego problem with Asian countries, and try to mislead ICC in many occassion till India got powerful in terms of money and governing cricket council starting from Jagmohan Dalmia period onwards till today. If u don't know the truth, pls keep quite.. He doesnot need urs or mine certificate to be known as highest wkt taker and all time greatest off spinner in history of cricket.. Believe or not..
I have seen brett lee sometimes, and shaun tait most of the times, bend their arms.Esp watch tait in slomo and you see. Just because they are these cool guitar playing dudes, while this guy is from war ravaged Lanka, means all of us indians, who have nothing to do with murali, are now posting chucker comments everywhere. Also, have you guys seen the action of kyle mills, and flintoff at times? If murali is banned then so should most of the fast bowlers.Atleast indians zaheer, sreesanth and nehra and even ishant can claim to have clean actions.
Re: Why no one is complaining about Brett lee or shaun tait?
by sunil k on Jul 06, 2010 09:42 PM
tait has got the most "clean" action among all the "round arm " action bowlers.....he bends his lower body so that his arm never bends.....total clean round arm action....no argument into this...watch his action "NOW" in 20-20 match against PAK....the best round arm action bowler was "wakar yunis"...classic inswinging yorkers..

Very correct, he was a champ bowler who will be badly missed. Definitely one of the greats of all times whose record in Tests will remain for a long long time. I dont see anyone break his record for today we are in the era of T20 and ODIs where players have short careers. He was also a colorful chap too with a ready smile always.

and a great gentlemen cricketer too ... just that doosra has brought him down a little bit as i said earlier .. otherwise great legend

Indians are stupids who doesnot know anything. Is that making you angry for no reason. Then stop your absurd comments on a champion bowler
