Paji,I totally dis agree with U.A cricketer must be prepared to play on any track...fast or spin if he really wants to show his talent. No bowler should depend upon the help from the pitch(wicket). His job is to stop the run flow & Make the batsman make a mistake while playing his shots ther by getting him out.thats all! Fast bowlers should do wicket to wicket bowling & also as per the field setting.Otherwise, somw bowlers put 6 fielders on off & bowl out side the leg stump. That should be avoided.
Turning track is definitely a good idea. It will avoid the wicket keepers and players to change over from one end to the other. A turning track will make the track to be turned or rotated with the batsmen on top of it.

A great one indeed. You should call it a rotating track, not a turning track.
We cannot be good host. Forget that old vedic saying. "A D B" "Vistor is GOD".... atleast we can be no1 in tests if not anything else that includes technology, miltary......etc, etc
India just have a good batting line-up with ordinary bowling and bad fielding. This is not enough for a world class cricket team. Only aussies and SA'a are above ordinary with teams complete in most departments of the game. They play complete cricket. Hence the best result Indians can hope against the south africans is a draw.
