i do no tkow if parthiv patel has improved his keeping but surely his batting is good for test matches. I suppose they needed some one from east to fill a quaota. Plus 3 players from TN would have created a problem fro cheeka

the same regional bias one day gave india saurav ganguly, the one man the whole country's cricket fans should be indebted to or transforming the attitude of the team and the nation and making team india. so why not see if this too proves to be the same. what lobby are you talking of? why did agarkar play infinitely for india inspite of the poorest of performance ? dont u see mumbai lobby? u cant say lobby for selecting someone who has done well.
How can selector selects some one who himself is not confident of his ability to get into Indian team !! 100% case of regional bias & pressure from Bengal lobby.

FYI theres no Bengal lobby now in BCCI due to rift between CAB and BCCI. With the kind of competition India team selection entails, newcomers would always be surprised, espcially since the wicketkeeping postion is almost irreplaceable in this indian team
Case of Worst selection, this clearly shows that they have tried to put in players from all the Zones. Its just chance for SAHA to earn money sitting on bench. As Murali and Badri are selected from tamilnadu,Karthik is dropped from the team giving achance to East zone Saha, what a shame for the nation. At least now zonal systems needs to b abolished, to get the right team selected

If the Zonal systems suits you, it is fine and when goes against your desire or aspiration, it is as bad as anything. Tell me, what Dinesh Karthick is doing? He got so many chances but never excelled. But there was no problem for Raja Reddi. His heartburn starts when Karthik is dropped. Such critics do not auger well for Indian cricket . Such people are as bad as some of the selectors who believe in quotas.

Since Karthik failed to capitalise on numerous chances given to him, his replacement was imperative. Saha has been doing well in both keeping and batting in the domestic circuit. He desrved a chance. The other option could have been Parthiv Patel. In any case, Saha is very very unlikely to play but it seems it is curtains for Karthik.
why they are giving chance to munaf and ifran pathan. at present except zaheer no other fast bowler is doing well. so why thet have not selected exprince and quality player. hoefully in furture they will understand there mistake
why should they select saha when we have parthiv who had an excellent ranji season.. moreover they should have got an extra specialist batsman when vvs is not 100% fit.. pujara or manish pandey should have got a look in... i don't understand what was in minds of srikanth when selecting the team...

people like parthiv can perform only in domestic cricket. the dont have the guts and balls to face the australians of south africans. we have seen him many times before. useless ass.
