Pakistani Cricketer's English
by Manoj on Jan 25, 2010 09:43 PM

Most cricketers, who are not comfortable in conversing in English, go
prepare for some standard questions that are asked to them when
commentators chat with them during the awards ceremony.

Inzamam was once asked a different question after Pakistan won the match,
for which he was not prepared. He always used his standard response to the
first question after winning.

But this time..... Tony Greig: So Inzi, that's fantastic, your wife is
pregnant for the second time and u must be happy!

Inzamam: Bismillah-e- Rehman-e- Rahim! All credit goes to the boys.
Everyone work hard for it, especially Afridi. It was tight situation when
he went in.

Also Bob Woolmer was keeping close watch on progress and giving
instructions. It's all team effort. Insha Allah, we all will work together
as a team, put in big effort and deliver good result all the time and will
be able to REPEAT the same result.

Tony fainted!

Pakistanis and their peanut brains
by Jay on Jan 25, 2010 01:50 PM

This report is a clear testament that Pakistanis in general lack serious common sense. Those idiots across the border don't even realize that the IPL is a private venture made up of industrialists, corporate buffs and Bollywood celebrities. Had the Pakis understood that simple and silly concept, they won't be crying over the 'sour grapes' snub handed over to their boys at the auction.

Some of the former Paki players also called for a complete withdrawal of Paki athletes from non-cricket sporting activities. How ridiculous can a nation ever get ??? Indians don't mix cricket with other sports. Sure Indians love cricket a little more BUT they clearly have the brains to know that hockey or kabaddi is not played with pads and gloves.

So my dear Pakis: shut the f**k up and stop being pussies over the IPL auction. If I were you, I would be just smirking and focusing on the World T20. Having said that, your boys are being trashed by the kangaroos.. so it's time to move on from this stupidity and rash brawl.

Age of a Pakistani players
by Legionnaire on Jan 25, 2010 08:56 AM  | Hide replies

Pakistan has dubious distinctions of playing over age players. Shahid Afridi's age was 16 years when he debuted in 1996 when he clearly looked in his 20s. Untill, the age of Pakistani players are medically verified, their victory cannot be recognised by a large section of cricket fans.

Most of these paki players are overaged, and the pakis themselves have admitted this.

How can u-19 players compete with Pakistani men in their 20s and 30s.

There should be some kind of accountability and transparency in u-19, or it will lose its credibility.

India can also field men in their 20s and 30s in u-19 saying they are teenagers, like the pakis does.

Heard all the 26/11 attackers were also under 19! It is ridiculous to match the snub with defeat of India in an under-19 match, when the senior team is getting spanked by the Aussies. At least cricket players should not have told like that.

pak ministers would also have shined in u-19
by abhimanyu on Jan 24, 2010 06:44 PM

The pak ministers would also have shined in u-19.

Also in any other categories like u-12 and u-7.

Their maturity levels are in those stages.
