This is one of the ways to hit Pakis where it hurts the most. If they persist with the policy of terror, kill whatever economical benefits they are getting out of us.They will behave in no time.
Is the govt of India listening.

What a bunch of cry babies... You dont have money to settle it to the national team but you are nuts to announce 1L to youngsters. At-least they win.

Key points for Pakistan
by Pathan on Jan 24, 2010 09:02 AM

1) Pakistan has never defeated India\'s senior team in any world cups

2) We are not bothered about Lalit Modi or anyone who is not giving chance to Pak players in IPL. IT is a commercial tournament. The owners of the team have full rights to pick whoever they want and can consider or reject anyone.

3)The cricket is a game of friendship, when there is political disturbance there will be no matches between the countries. So It is good to think like mature people not to say rubbish on the Indian sports, people and country !

Syed Salman's comment is like that of a rabied canine.

Look at what violence & extremism has brought to Af-Pork. Disgrace and poverty.

World is laughing at your situation. Foreign troops ( read US & UK) are plundering your wealth, land and w*men.

Syed Shaitan ..er..syed salman better mend your ways. Stop going to madrassas and terrorist training camps. Go to a good decent school, learn a trade, get a livelihood and get a life!

Terrorism is out of vogue. It is not a good career option even though it is a national occupation for you guys.

Bat & ball Game
by azizulhuq huq on Jan 24, 2010 08:54 AM  | Hide replies

This bat &ball game of IPL with match fixing result is an insult if you play. Here the film stars, businessman are the people involved. Indian crowds are fools who watch. It is not sports but gambling arena for Corporates cinestars & politicians to stack money abroad. If you play in this game you are unfit in international arena.

all porkis want is to win small and insignificant battles..they take pride in winning cricket and hockey matches..after all its a sport..they take it as a war..wen it comes to real war, they were dumped into a corner..this time, we need to show better resolve, join US and russia, wipe out entire porki land..

What happens to this talented bunch of kids is another matter..
by Arjun bharatiya on Jan 24, 2010 08:50 AM

Congratulations to the young bunch of kids in our neighbourhood. It is beyond doubt that these kids and the neighbouring country are a talented lot in terms of cricketing abilities.

However with the environment in that country, political instability, religious hard-liners ruling the roost and lack of administrative support system can make nurturing of this talent difficult.

Whether this potential talent translates into world class sportsmen remains to be seen. Looking at what has happened in the past to very promosing players, who failed to reach their potential in recent times, things are not hunky dory. Look at Shoaib Akhtar's inglorious exit. Likes of Asif and others caught for drug peddling in Dubai. Inzamam began as a competetor to Sachin & Lara but when he finished his credentials were hardly as impressive as Sachin or Lara and will never be spoken in the same breath as the other two. Constant fighting team members like Afridi fighting Shoaib and ever changing captains.

Its time neighbours learn to look beyond cricket and mend many things that ought to be seen in true perspective rather than extremism and medieval tribal mindset.

ALL SAID AND DONE...ALL THE BEST to the youngesters and KUDOS.

LOVE & PEACE TO ALL.
